THE CABBAGETOWN ART & CRAFT SALE WAS NAMED BY BLOGTO AS ONE OF "THE TOP 10 OUTDOOR ART FAIRS IN TORONTO FOR 2015" Cabbagetown Art & Crafts, and the annual sale it presents, was founded by Randy Brown in 1988, and he still runs it today. Located in Riverdale Park West, which is in Cabbagetown in the heart of downtown, it is the oldest and prettiest park in Toronto. The sale takes place on the second weekend of September on the same weekend as the Cabbagetown Festival. There is no admission fee and it is readily accessible by TTC. The Cabbagetown Art & Crafts is a not-for-profit corporation which benefits many local charitable organizations in various ways. The aim of CA&C is to encourage appreciation of the visual arts, to give artists a place to sell their work, and to foster community spirit. Exhibitors line the walkways of Riverdale Park with their tents and tens of thousands of people stroll the walkways to view the wares. 375 SUMACH STREET

Accepted payment methods

Payment
We only accept Paypal at the moment. You don't need to have an account with Paypal in order to use credit cards!

Canadian citizens will have applicable provincial and federal added to their orders.

Order cancellation is possible at any point, but if I have started on your item there may be a 15-30% restocking fee for cancellations.

I have the right to refuse or cancel sales.
Shipping
- All items under $400 are shipped in a flat gift box with the store's logo (silver on black)

- All items are shipped Canada Post Expedited, which includes tracking and $100 insurance coverage. It is up to the customer to request full insurance, and costs will vary. It takes 2-3 business days to ship within Canada, 5-6 days to the United States, and 11-12 days for some International countries, barring any customs delays.

- Ready to ship items are sent out within 1-3 business days, as long as the order comes in before 12pm on a Friday.

- Made to Order items generally take 4-5 weeks for creation, and are shipped within 1-2 days of their completion. These lead times are subject to change as my order queue fills.

- I do not write GIFT on international customs forms.

- Custom items are shipped upon completion, approval from the customer (via photos), and final payments are made. Custom items can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks, depending on how much time is needed for the design process, material sourcing and shipping, and processes out of my control such as casting (which I unfortunately am not able to do at my own studio.) Every custom item is unique, and you will be given an estimated time based on complexity.

I am not responsible for the following:

- Import fees, tariffs, or taxes imposed by your country, province or state.

- Delivery delays. There is little to nothing I can do if your parcel has been delayed due to customs, weather, or slowness on the part of your local carrier.

- Shipping fees resulting from an incorrectly provided address that I was not made aware of before shipping.

- Shipping fees resulting from ring size exchanges in which I was provided an incorrect ring size.

- Customs fees that I pay as a result of jewellery sent back to me for size exchange or alteration.

- Lost or stolen packages. I insure the majority of my jewellery for $100 coverage only, in order to keep shipping costs to you as low as possible. If you would like your item fully insured, the cost will vary and it is up to you as the customer to request this. If the item becomes lost or stolen in transit and you did not request full insurance, I will replace the missing item at cost, not for free.
Refunds and Exchanges
** "Made to Order" is defined as an item from my collection with customizations that are made available in the listing, such as size, finish type, stone options and metal colour**

** "Custom" is defined as an item created specifically for a customer that does not come from one of my collections, or is an item with a customization not offered as an option in the listing, such as a specifically requested gemstone.

- Returns on made-to-order items will incur a 25-35% restocking fee, depending on the item in question. The fee percentage depends on the cost of materials and labor that went into making the ring.

- There are no refunds or exchanges for custom items, at all.

- Size exchanges are possible for UNWORN rings, and I have been contacted prior to the sending the ring back for exchange.

- Ring re-sizings when the ring has been worn (where possible) will be subject to a $20-60 fee (depending on metal type), plus shipping. Please contact me if you intend to return an item for sizing, and I will direct you though my preferred method of shipping.

- All other jewellery may be refunded, if the item is returned in its original condition and properly packaged for shipping. Refunds are issued up to ten days after delivery. Please contact me if you intend to return an item, and I will direct you though my personalized method of shipping. Refunds will not be issued to those who do not do this, as I do not want my jewellery to be damaged, lost, or stolen due to improper packaging.

- Items damaged in transit are not my responsibility, and must be made known to me within seven days of delivery.

- Shipping, taxes, tariffs and duties are non-refundable. It is the Customers responsibility to be aware of any fees their country may impose on imported goods.

~ QUALITY GUARANTEE ~

I take pride in the quality of my work, and will always repair work free of charge, where the damage was incurred through a fault in my workmanship (broken solder seams, loose settings, broken ear posts or bails on pendants.)

Not included are include oxidization (see below for care instructions) scratches/dents from daily wear, accidents (such as getting your hand slammed in a car door) medical emergencies in which the jewellery has been cut off, broken (metal) chains, warped ear wires, ring sizings (I will exchange, but only if in unworn condition - see policies above), or any instance where I warn you that your jewellery or stone is particularly unsuitable for its intended purpose.

The guarantee is rendered null and void if my jewellery is brought to another jeweller for repair.
Additional policies and FAQs
~ FINDING YOUR RING SIZE ~

I always recommend visiting a local jeweller to be sized properly. (Some plastic sizers can also be found The most accurate reading will come from a sizer with a similar width to the ring you want.

Please do not use printable sizers, apps, or string - most of these are not accurate. If you are purchasing a wide ring (6mm and up) and the jeweller does not have a wide ring sizer, please add a half size up, as wide rings tend to fit tighter.

There are not many accurate ways to sneakily size your partner. If you feel you absolutely have to, use a ring that you know for CERTAIN fits their RING finger properly, and bring that in to a jeweller to check the size, or really, - just ASK HER!

If you cannot choose between two sizes, pick the larger one. It's usually easier to size rings down than it is to size them up.

~ ENGRAVING, PLATING, CUSTOMER PROVIDED STONES ~

I do not offer any of these as a service. I also do not use customer provided stones, as I do not have insurance for damage that can occur from improper identification or unseen cracks/inclusions during setting, or for loss.

~ LARGE RING SIZES ~

Some rings over a size 10 ( size 9 in gold) will have to be specially ordered, and will incur a slightly higher cost. This is because larger sizes require more metal, and because some of my rings are cast, or have cast components, and it is difficult or impossible to size them without compromising the structure.

~ WHAT METAL IS BEST FOR WEDDING RINGS? ~

While I will happily make wedding bands in sterling silver, and while silver is much more economical for most people - gold tends to have much more longevity, so please consider it! Textures do wear down faster in silver as well.

~ CARE AND CLEANING ~

Sterling silver jewellery is prone to tarnish, and may also discolour the skin of some wearers. Neither of these are an indication that the metal is "fake", rather it is the presence of copper in the sterling that causes the aforementioned issues.

The speed at which tarnish happens depends on a few factors, including the skin type of the wearer, climate, and what the jewellery is exposed to. It can occur faster if you shower, swim, use household cleaning solutions, live in a humid climate, bake (cooked eggs can blacken silver) and use hot tubs without removing your jewellery prior.

For gunk build up - a soft toothbrush, warm water, and dishsoap should do the trick.

For my flame-textured pieces, a brass kitchen brush with plenty of warm water and dish soap should bring back the shine and remove patina. However, if you find it to be stubborn, bring it into a jeweller to have it professionally cleaned.

Please also make an effort to not wear your rings while weight lifting, swimming, or playing sports than involve the use of hands (volleyball especially).
