Allen Lapierre has been a jeweler for 33 years. He works in platinum, gold, silver and is an expert enameller. He grew up in Istanbul and lives in NEW YORK NY, where he makes jewelry in all metals from brass to platinum, using all types of gemstones.

Returns and exchanges
I do my best to take extremely close-up and detailed photos and also describe each item in close detail in each listing. If you have any additional questions before you commit to buy an item, please ask me and I will respond quickly and thorougly. For these reasons, returns are not accepted and refunds are not granted.

Shipping
PROCESSING TIME
We work hard to try and print shipping labels almost as soon as orders come in during business hours, Mon - Fri 10 - 5pm, excluding national holidays. Orders are usually packaged and go out the same day as the order is received, or the next business day, usually if orders come in late in the day and won't make it to the post office by day's end.

PACKAGING
All items are mailed in a giftbox with a bow. White 9x7 bubble-lined mailing envelopes or small cardboard boxes, with the printed shipping label sticker affixed to the front, are used for the outer packaging.



USA ADDRESSES
All domestic items are giftwrapped and shipped for free via 1st class USPS with a delivery confirmation tracking number trackable at www.usps.com.

NON USA ADDRESSES
All international items are sent via airmail USPS with a customs form on them. While not a tracking number, the customs form number can be used to help trace a package. International airmail packages usually take 10 to 14 business days to arrive.

International addresses: $10 shipping includes insurance. Tracking and signature upon delivery are available with an upgrade to USPS Global Express which starts at $40 per package - convo me prior to purchase and we will quote and add the upgraded shipping price to the item price if you want the upgrade to Global Express. Global Express delivery times average 2 to 3 days.



LOST PACKAGE WITH NO INSURANCE
If you purchase an item(s) from us with or without insurance, we mail it with a tracking number via 1st class USPS. Please note that if you chose to not purchase insurance and signature at delivery when you purchased your item(s), the value of your purchase(s) in a lost package will not be refunded to you. Once in the mail stream and trackable online, we cannot control its location and will not refund lost, uninsured packages, even if your package should go missing on its very first day in the USPS mailstream and never resurface ever again. (Yes, that has happened).


LOST PACKAGE WITH INSURANCE AND SIGNATURE AT DELIVERY
If you purchase an item(s) from us with insurance and signature at delivery, we mail it with a tracking number via 1st class USPS along with the insurance for the full amount of your purchase and with signature required at delivery. If you purchased insurance and signature at delivery for your item(s), and should the package go missing in the mailstream (usually signified by the package's online USPS tracking info simply stopping mid-way to its destination), you will not be refunded until an insurance claim is paid out. We communicate with buyers about lost packages very quickly, but there is a wait time of about 30 days before an insurance claim can be initiated by us once a package goes missing. Then once we are able to do so, an insurance claim will be initiated by us online using U-PIC, the company etsy chose for package insurance. Once the claim is initiated by us, you will have to fill out an online form at the U-PIC website as the buyer of an item in a lost package. We both will have to wait for the claim to be processed by U-PIC, usually about 30 days, once we as the seller and you as the buyer have completed our online forms at U-PIC.com. You will receive a refund equal to the amount on the check sent to us by U-PIC, of which we will send a digital photo to you and which you can check by using the claim's unique log-in on the U-PIC website. This refund will be returned to you from us via paypal.

Refunds for lost packages are not returned to the buyer until the insurance refund is paid to me.
