Generational Art

This all started when Marie Alesia, a traditional artist, decided to try and sell her artwork at a local art and craft show. Her son, Mark Alesia, had developed a growing interest in digital art. The two joined forces and came together to start Alesia Art as a way of selling their artwork. Marie has been doing traditional art (i.e. painting, drawing, etc) for pretty much her entire life. Her favorite medium to work with is charcoal pencil, producing charcoal drawings. Mark developed a taste for graphic design and digital art around 12-13 yrs old. He works primarily on his iPad, but uses his graphic design and layout skills to produce his artwork as prints, notecards and his latest project is putting his art onto playing cards and creating his own decks of cards. These two really bridge the gap between two very different styles and generations of art, but both are equally remarkable in their own way.
