Everyday Magic

I've lived with art, artists, the mindset, the stuff, for most of my life. The studio is a temple, the tools are cherished, passed down from mentor to pupil, every skill is carefully honed, and learning every day is a favorite pastime. I am a maker.
Objects have history, from the kernel of thought that was the initial idea, to the physical form it eventually takes. In between it gathers music, color, balance, even poetry. My wish is to send these objects into the world to perform tasks, some subtle, some overt. Some objects are locked behind glass but speak strange languages fluently, languages that only strangers can understand. Others are quietly useful, bending to physical tasks, touching the body rather than the mind. Every thing I make has a drop of the ineffable in it. The purpose is to find it.

    Owner, Artist

Well, I'm from Romania. I grew up there, went to art school, then moved across the pond to the States when I was 19. I did my undergrad in Fine Arts in NY, and MFA in PA. I am now in ID building my tiny house. Nice to meet you!

Dear Guest,
The items I make are objects that make life more interesting every time you use them. From reading the grain on a cutting board, to feeling the wool on a book cover as you open it. It's the little things that bring joy to life.

Returns and exchanges
I understand that things can get damaged in transit. If that's the case, you can send it back to get fixed, unless you think you can do it yourself. I can cover the second shipping one way.
If the item never arrives (which shouldn't be a problem with tracking) I will do everything I can to find it. If it is never found, you will get a full refund.
I accept PayPal or direct pay through Etsy. Sometimes I accept checks but only from people I know. I do prefer PayPal though. It's so much safer for everyone.
I generally use Ground Shipping with USPS, unless otherwise requested. I tend to overcharge on shipping to cover my back-side but if the shipping is cheaper than expected, I will refund the difference. If I sell an item I already have made, you can expect it to be shipped within 2 business days, unless I'm out of town. Please contact me if you want delayed shipping if you are out of town.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please keep in mind the colors you see may vary from the original work due to different monitor calibration. Every item is unique.
Please contact me with any questions at all. If you want something but it's too expensive, I'm open to bargaining. I want these objects to find good homes, not just expensive homes.
