Welcome to Springvalley Yarns by Alabama Fiber Dreams. I specialize in kettle dyed yarns: Simply Fingering, Simply Fingering...With A Twist!, Get Ewe Done Sport, and Hold Your Horses DK. All of my yarns are kettle dyed in my own kitchen and then hung out to dry in the hot, Southern sun. I love the creativity that dyeing affords me and I hope you'll enjoy what comes out of my dye pot.

If you don't see it in stock, please convo me and I'll see if I can set up a special order for you. :-) Please note that colorways that are not in stock require an extra 48-72 hours for dyeing/drying before shipping can occur.

All yarn comes from a non-smoking, pet and kid-friendly home (however, said pets and kids are not allowed to help with the process).

Returns and exchanges
I always want my customers to be completely happy with their purchases. However, should you decide that you'd like to return something for a refund, these are the requirements:
1. Refunds are only accepted within 30 days of sale.
2. Item must be un-used (this includes winding and knitting with the yarn) and un-damaged.
3. Item must be shipped back to me in the same manner it was shipped to you (First Class Mail w/delivery confirmation (or First Class International if you are outside of the US) for yarn, Regular Mail for stitch markers).
4. Your refund will come through PayPal and will be made within 3 business days of my receiving the items.
Payment
Payment must be received within 72 hours of purchasing your items. If it is not received within this period, the sale will be considered null and void and the items will be re-listed.
Shipping
I ship within 2 business days after the payment has been cleared through PayPal. Yarn is shipped via first class mail with delivery confirmation for US customers and First Class International Mail for customers outside of the continental US. Stitch markers are shipped via regular mail, in a padded envelope. Once the item has left me, it is in the hands of the USPS. I cannot control whether it is damaged or lost in transit. Therefore, if you'd like to purchase insurance for your item, please convo me and I will send you an updated invoice.
Additional policies and FAQs
Pictures:

While I try to take accurate photos to capture the colors in the yarn, please remember that each computer monitor may show colors differently.

Knots:

Every now and then, a knot can be found in a skein of yarn. One knot isn't that unusual, as it's most likely where one cone of yarn ran out before the complete yardage was reached. However, if two or more knots are found in a skein, I will list it in the "Sale Aisle". While I do try to spot these as I'm winding, knots do slip past me sometimes (I reskein yarn really, really fast). :-) I always want my customers to be happy with their yarn, so please contact me if you have any problems.
