About

Artist & Lecturer

Alison has been pre-occupied with the City and our relationship to it for some time. Her work aims to take you into this space, beyond body or matter; that has some pointers to reality but is not quite real, rather virtual and therefore imaginary.

A few words from the Artist:
All my creations are Photographic silkscreen prints, and part of small editions. In the past year I have been teaching students, graduates and artists on how to promote themselves using social media and was introduced to Etsy. I was impressed on how it could offer an online space to sell and share work and began to spread the word with my peers and students. I have now taken the next step of starting my own shop after exhibiting in the UK and abroad for a number of years I am looking forward to engaging with the Etsy community and work alongside talented practitioners from many different disciplines.

Please visit the Artists blog to read about the ideas behind the work.

My Philosophy is Hand-made, original artwork. I hand screen print these works of art on the finest quality Somerset Paper. They are small edition prints and each one is unique due to the process.

I am a freelance Artist & lecturer, so i would be very interested in any projects creating new work and lecturing opportunities.
