The bag is so pretty and the colours are as bright as they appear in the photo. I love it. But I now have to fight my daughter for who gets to use it first :-)

A++++ seller & crafter..love it! ?
Making pieces of art one at a time
I have always made 'things'. At times the making didn't happen for months or years at a time, but eventually I have always found my way back to creating. I love to make gifts for my family and friends. I think that when you make something with your own hands, a little piece of you and your love goes into the article.
The move from making things for people I know to making things for everyone happened gradually, with a lot of encouragement from my family and friends. After presenting all of them with home sewn creations for Christmas, the pressure to start selling my pieces mounted, with my sister pointing out quite logically that if I had an Etsy shop I would only have to make as much as I could manage, rather than trying to achieve a certain level of stock (which is tricky with three children and a full time salaried job). So I took the plunge in January 2013, and have not regretted it since!
I love sitting down with a pile of fabric and playing with different combinations until I know how I want it to come together. I particularly enjoy making items that are functional, and look good at the same time! Making handbags provides me with the perfect combination of function and beauty.
When it comes to making things for children I want them to be as colourful as possible, while also being practical. If it can't go in the washing machine, then it isn't practical! I am particularly interested in making accessories to support children with special needs, as I have a special needs child myself.
I feel very privileged to be able to make little pieces of art, one at a time, that bring joy into other people's lives.
Owner, Maker, Designer
I have always been drawn to bright colours and beautiful designs. Creating gifts for others to buy and share brings me great joy and allows me to play with colours, textures, designs and ideas.
I get great joy from making items that are functional and beautiful - I like to think of it as making usable art, one piece at a time.
I believe that making good quality sturdy fabric items for children allows them to add their own creative input to their play, and that exercising their imagination is one of the greatest gifts you can give a child. I also believe that having toys that are washable is a gift to the parents, so my pieces all come with washing instructions.
I believe that when you buy a product from me you should expect to receive a high quality piece of handcrafted art.
