Love what we ordered. It’s perfect for our upcoming vacation.

The journal is great but the elastic that holds the pen on is already separated from the journal. It’s for my sons Easter basket so that’s not worth returning it to me. I’m hoping I can hot glue it back on. UPDATE: Danielle saw this review and sent me a new one. She even rush shipped it to try to get it here by Easter. Great customer service.

I really like this journal for my 6 year old niece. Nice quality, pages seem durable for different types of writing mediums. My sister and brother in law travel frequently due to being in the military so this is perfect. My only complaint and reason for knocking a star is that the small piece of fabric that held the pen to the journal broke off immediately when I was trying to get the pen out. The grip on the pen made it hard to slide out; I was not tugging forcefully, it just broke right off, but luckily did not compromise the rest of the journal so it is not noticeable. I wish this were reinforced and stronger. But even without it, I still like the journal and I am happy I am the one who broke it rather than giving it as a gift, and then my niece breaking it.
