5 out of 5 starsFrame fit my piece perfectly. It was very carefully packaged to ensure no damage during shipping. Because my print was already matted, paying for custom framing seemed unnecessarily expensive. This frame gives me the sane look for much less $. *****

5 out of 5 starsThis was perfect, my first Etsy purchase. The frame was ordered to fit an print we purchased in Spain, so the size had to be exact (but not kill the budget, right!). Just right and arrived timely. Thank you

The hand-rubbed wax finish really brings out the beauty of the wood.
The perfect frame - at a friendly price!
My goal is to help people showcase and protect their artwork with my line of frames. The frames are built from ayous or aged barnwood and hand-dyed to your choice of color. The color is sealed with satin lacquer and given a hand-rubbed wax finish. The frames are filled with your choice of regular or UV protective glass and a foamcore backing, and come with the hanging hardware or easel back you specify.
Because my frames are made from scratch, I can customize both the size and the color - so you can have a truly custom frame for your piece - the perfect frame at a friendly price!

Frequently asked questions
What size frame should I buy?
Traditionally, you choose the frame size based on the dimensions of your picture. If you have a 4x6 picture, you buy a 4x6 frame, and it will have a 4x6 opening in the back that holds your glass, picture and backing. From the front, however, you will see a little less, as the lip of the frame covers approximately 1/4" of the image all the way around.
If you have an image where you're worried about covering too much of the edge, feel free to message me. I can create what is known as a SIGHT OPENING which will be cut to cover only 1/16" of the image all the way around - this should ensure that you don't see any of the backing material. For these, please note that you should purchase the next size up. Otherwise, there is no additional charge.
What size mat should I buy?
I'm happy to include a mat in your frame, but I do not sell mats on their own. Please visit this section to add one to your order - https://www.etsy.com/shop/AllForShowFraming?section_id=18880661
In general, you want a mat that is at least 1-1/2" inches wide, and 2" inches or more is generally more pleasing. For a 4x6 or 5x7 picture, you'd want an 8x10 frame and mat. For an 8x10 picture, you'd want a 12x14 frame.
Feel free to message me if you need help making your selection.
Can you make a custom sized frame for me?
I absolutely make custom sized frames, and at no additional charge! I'll usually have you purchase your desired style of frame in the size nearest to what you need (rounded up). For example, if you need a 12x14 to accommodate a matted 8x10 print, you'd purchase the 12x16 frame and mat. If you need a 4x10 frame, that that prices the same as a 6x8. If you need a 13-3/4 x 19-1/2, you'd purchase the 16x20. As always, though, if you're not sure about what you need, feel free to message me! I'm always happy to help.
Can you make a large frame for me?
I sure can, but I can't necessarily ship it.
The largest size frame I'm willing to ship - WITH glass - is 18x24 or 20x20. The largest size frame I'm willing to ship - WITHOUT glass - is 20x24 or 24x24. I do not offer Plexiglas, nor will I ship any frame larger than the sizes stated here.
All that being said, if you're willing to do a local pickup in Lake Worth Beach, FL (33461), then I can make any size frame you want! Message me for pricing.
