Are there animals in the studio?
It is important that I let you know that I live in a home with a couple of dog and cats. Though my supplies are stored away from the animals, they do like to lay at my feet when I work outside the sewing room.
THOSE WHO ARE SEVERELY ALLERGIC TO CATS AND DOGS or their hair may want to pass on my items.
What happens if the shipping address on my order is wrong?
PLEASE DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS at checkout to be sure it is correct! If it is not correct, you must change it before you place your order. I cannot accept an address change via Etsy Conversation or email. I can only ship to the address listed on your order.
If you accidentally place your order with the wrong address, contact me right away. I must cancel and refund your order. After you have updated your address, your items will be available for re-purchase.
If you provide an incorrect or incomplete address during checkout and the package is returned to us, we will contact you by Etsy convo and/or email. You are responsible for purchasing the postage required to re-ship.
When will my order be shipped?
We cannot possibly keep all the items we offer in stock at all times. As such, all items are made upon order unless the listing is marked as READY TO SHIP. Please see the shipping tab for the current estimate for creating the items you are purchasing.
Let us know right away if your order is time critical! We have upgrade options available for rush orders and can work with most time lines.
Please be aware that once I have handed your package over to the shipping company, I cannot control how quickly it moves toward its destination. I encourage you to contact me if you are concerned that your order has not been delivered.
My package was damaged during shipment. What happens now?
IF YOUR ITEM ARRIVES DAMAGED, IMMEDIATELY TAKE A PHOTO OF BOTH THE ITEM AND THE PACKAGING. Send the photos to me as soon as possible.
Do not throw out the item or the packaging. I will need the photos and may need the actual, physical item and packaging to file a claim with USPS to get you a refund or replace your item.
IMPORTANT! You MUST contact me within 3 days of receiving a damaged item or I will not refund or accept returns.
I've never received my package.
If your package is not received, I will do everything I can to help. This includes contacting the USPS or FedEx and helping you file a claim for a lost/stolen item.
Please remember I cannot control what happens to items once I hand them over to the shipper. However, I will work with you to help find your package.
If you believe your package was stolen from your home, you will be required to file a police report before filing an insurance claim.
Additional Customs Information for International Buyers
1) Buyer is responsible for paying customs duties and any other import fees/taxes. Please check with your country's customs office to see if you will incur any fees.
2) I will not mark any purchased items as "gifts" on customs forms. Please do not ask. This is considered mail fraud. I'm not losing my business or going to prison for you.
3) Ask your local authorities about import restrictions before making a purchase. Though I have researched import restrictions, they are subject to change.
4) If an item is sent back to me due to import restrictions and/or because you did not follow through on contacting the customs/postal authority in your country in a timely manner, I will refund the price of the items, but not the cost of shipping.
Sizing details
The body of each Toddler and Kid's towel measures approximately 54" x 30". The finished hood sizes are:
Toddler - 8" deep x 11" tall
Kid's - 12" deep x 13" tall
Toddler size is recommended up to about age 4, while the Kid's size will generally fit up to age 11.
The towels used for our Teen/Adult towels measure approximately 65" x 33". The hood is approximately 15" deep x 13" tall.
If the recipient is over 6'3", consider a custom-made XXL towel that will measure approximately 65"x65" when finished. Please convo me for more details.
Care instructions
HOODED TOWELS
• Always wear with a smile
• For the first wash please use the color catcher that is included. Bright colors such as red and green may bleed.
• Wash in cold water with like colors
• Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry
• Don’t pull loose threads – cut them
• Lint may transfer from the towel to the hood. Use a lint brush or tape to remove.
FELT MASKS
• Not machine washable
• Surface clean only with a damp cloth
