Living in the countryside, I had the dream of a farm and a product that I could develop. Winters being cold, I wanted a soft product for my children, not the traditional sheep's wool that scratches and stings. The alpaca is an endearing animal and its fiber compares favorably to cashmere. He was the perfect animal to meet my needs. So we raise the animals in our fields, we shear them once a year, spin the wool, and I then have the pleasure of imagining children's products, original, handmade in Quebec and that will warm our marmaille during the cold season. Vivant en campagne, nous j'avais le rêve d'une ferme et d'un produit que je pourrais développer. Les hivers étant froids, je voulais un produit doux pour mes enfants, et non pas la laine de mouton traditionnelle qui gratte et qui pique. L'alpaga est un animal attachant et sa fibre se compare avantageusement au cachemire. Il était l'animal tout indiqué pour répondre à mes besoins. Nous élevons donc les animaux dans nos champs, nous les tondons une fois par année, faisons filer la laine, et j'ai alors le plaisir d'imaginer des produits pour enfants, originaux, faits à la main au Québec et qui iront réchauffer notre marmaille pendant la saison froide.
