Cards for Grandma
Aluminum Butterfly began as a granddaughter’s way to cheer up a fiercely artistic woman who was diagnosed with cancer. My grandmother taught me everything I know about art and making her cards when she became ill seemed to bring a smile to her face. Those cards also earned the attention of friends, family, and hospital staff. It became apparent that there were quite a few people that still appreciated handmade paper crafts. For me, art has always been a preferred method of expression. I enjoy making cards for my grandmother and she continues to enjoy them (even though she’s beaten cancer).
Along the way, a few cards and tags have blossomed into a fantastically enjoyable creative experience. Our product offerings have grown from a few occasion specific cards to year-round and seasonal offerings, candle holders, gift boxes, and ornaments. We've added special custom order lines for weddings and showers and turned into the kind of small company friends and family can be proud of. Our crafts are more than just premium handmade products -- they're our way of sharing the simple caring gestures of our family with yours.

An appropriately sized vellum gift envelope is available for most cards. Though not recommended as a mailing envelope, it can be an appealing aesthetic touch if the card is to be hand delivered. A vellum envelope can be substituted for an opaque paper envelope if you so desire for no extra charge, please specify in your order.
High profile items (those with quilled designs or paper flowers) are shipped in clear acrylic boxes to protect the designs. You may find that it is easier to present high profile cards to the recipient in this box instead of the included envelope, if you so choose.
