About

ME AND GLASS

My love for jewelry born when I was a child and I waited to go to my grandfathers house to open all them boxes to wear for a day the biggest earrings I could found.
Also my attraction for handmade and craft begin in my childhood when I spent many hours playing, watching and helping in boatyard where my grandfather made wood boats and then amazing woodcarving and inlay work wood canvas.

I started making little projects when I was still a baby as create necklace for my mum with paper beads or necklace from a bag chain for my sister.. and I have never stopped!

I graduate to biomedical ingengeering, I get married and I had three babies.

I have had my first glass lesson in Murano (Venice - Italy) on May 2011, then I continued to attend glass class for a couple of years.

I really love working with glass and continuing the old tradition of my land: something magical happens every time the glass melts, gets brighter and brighter, and finally turns into the finished piece of jewelry.

I love modern and minimalist shapes, but also statement and eyecathing pieces.
I love colors, I love sea colors during the summer as bright yellow of the sun with blue-green of the sea as the gray clouds of a winter storm with the teal dark blue of the sea; I love the green of the lawn of the summer mountains with the purple flowers on it as the shine of the sun that reflect itself on the white snow in the mountais during winter.
I think that purpose and beauty had to come together, beautiful pieces had to be also comfortable to wear as a ingeniuos clasp solution had to be also beautiful to see.

Since I have discovered glass beads I started making space in my home for torch, glass rods, kilns, and many other strange tools!
