Announcement   Amanda Atwill (BA Hons) set up trading as an Artist craftswoman in 1989, producing highly original and quality wooden giftware. She won a bursary from The Prince's Trust and has successfully traded in America, Japan and Europe. Over the years the work has developed to a very high standard; the speed, fluidity and grace of the pyography is very unique and exceptional. She has lifted the Victorian craft of 'poker work' to an art form.

Like William Morris, she subscribes to the view that things should be both beautiful and useful and so most things she makes are both.

Her work is really charming and has romantic nostalgia and yet modern positivity.

Each piece is designed and made by us from start to finish from small workshop and Georgean house in the English Lake District.
