Copper Care
To maintain the finish, avoid wearing your piece during prolonged exposure to water. The copper will oxidize over time giving it a warm finish. This is natural and every oxidation is unique to the person who wears it and the environment in which they live. Bring back the original sheen by gently rubbing it with a soft polish cloth.
Please be aware that copper is a reactivate metal. Depending on your skins natural oils, a green layer can form on your skin where you wear your copper jewelry - this doesn't happen to everyone though . This is completely harmless and washes off with soap and water. The more you wear your piece, the shinier it will get and you will notice that the green layer will disappear
What is Electroforming?
Electroforming is the intricate process of controlling a metal deposit of copper onto a conductive surface. Basically, a thick "skin" of copper is built over a piece of jewelry. The copper grows around the natural edges of each stone or crystal, giving it a very organic, unearthed aesthetic. Art meets Alchemy.
