Thanks for visiting from my shop. I enjoy making these little works of art and hope they please you as well. Everything I create is born out of experimentation meeting experience. The work you see is made using elements of my own creation. I do have some favorite artists whose work I incorporate in my own. When this happy union occurs I will let you know.

hot house posey fit test:

• Take a tape measure or a one yard length of yarn and drape it around your neck from behind your head. Bring your fingers holding the yarn (tape measure) together to where you think the pendant should start on your body.
• Each pendant’s description states its height and width. Use this info to help you gauge if the finished length of the necklace needs a little Goldilocks treatment or if your favorite piece is RTW (ready-to-wear).
• This technique is great for figuring out the fit of any necklace.

Ladies-in -waiting...
have captured my fancy of late and are ‘one offs’, as one of my design Profs referred to ones-of-a-kind. The Ladies are constructed of sterling silver, fine silver, or copper frames, with blossoms wired to them. As I add more pendants, you’ll find many mixing copper or brass with the silver just because I like the look and the latitude of design it allows. Some pendants are patinated naturally (gotta love those hard boiled eggs.) No two are the same. You may see the same beads in several pieces. When I use up a strand, it’s gone, and I move on to the next inspiration. If you are looking for a particular color combination or shape variation contact, me and we’ll talk.

Each Lady-In-Waiting is strung on hand dyed silk laces or readymade chain. Some have handmade clasps while others have manufactured closures. Most lengths are adjustable let me know if you need your item’s length longer or shorter

Sterling silver is the primary metal used in my work. You’ll see copper and brass used as well. Some findings are brass or steel with an antique plate finish.

Many of the beads in my stash are handmade by other craftspeople and therefore irregular. To that end, earrings come in pairs but mates may not be mirror images.

Ring sizes are approximate.

Gift wrapping is available.
