These "upcycled denim" bracelets are fun; what a neat thing to do with scraps of old denim! Be careful with these: my cat thought I'd gotten them for him, and now all but one are lost somewhere in the house--guess I'll find them next time I vacuum :-)!

Oh what lovely denim bracelets! They will look fantastic with my denim jacket and jeans, skirts, and handbag! Thank you very much Amber! :) It has been my pleasure doing business with you!

About

missHAQU - art, clay, home, books and more.

amberhlynn (now missHAQU) was created in September 2010 after Amber graduated from college. Her first craft fair was that December. Although that first craft fair was a disaster, she kept at it and now has traveled all over the Dutchess, Ulster, and Orange counties attending festivals and craft fairs to share her work with the general public, all the while maintaining her etsy shop to reach a worldwide audience of crafters and art lovers. In 2012, Amber was joined by Thomm Quackenbush, a local writer and novelist, who travels with Amber to festivals selling his books and entertaining her whenever the booth is devoid of shoppers. 2015 we opened a small gallery space in the back of the RHCAN gallery collective space in red hook, and now in 2016 our name has changed!

Enjoy!

Accepted payment methods

  • Other Method
Payment
I accept checks, money orders, and credit cards through PayPal or direct checkout. I ship items after payment has been received; I also may be amiable to a trade with another Etsy seller.
Shipping
As prices are based off experience and guessing, so overcharging is possible. If this happens by more than $2.00, I will reimburse it through PayPal or another payment method. Items will generally be mailed in three business days or less unless otherwise noted.

---Within the USA:
I ship items through USPS first-class mail with delivery confirmation when possible, which generally takes about 3 days to deliver, unless some other method is requested. I can also ship through USPS express mail within the US if a rush is needed; it will arrive the next day and will cost between $16-$22, depending on what shipping zone you are in. Please contact me for details.

---International:
I ship items through USPS first-class mail as well, and although it says “Everywhere Else”, I am unable to ship to Cuba, North Korea, Sudan, Iran, and Syria due to customs restrictions. Arrival times will vary depending on what country you reside in and I am not responsible for any customs charges.

---I am not responsible if an item is lost while shipping or if I am given the wrong address to ship to.
Refunds and Exchanges
I accept refunds or exchanges if I am notified within one week of the item being delivered. All shipping charges will have to be paid by the buyer. Once I receive the item back, I will initiate a refund through the same method I was paid originally or send out the exchange. I do not accept refunds for custom orders, especially when personalized with a name.
Additional policies and FAQs
---Custom items:
Most items in my shop are customizable by color and I’m more than willing to create a special item for you. For example, I have made acorn ornaments with names and phrases on them and symbolic necklaces. Just send me a message and we’ll hammer out the details of the project together. Once I’m finished, I will send you a photo of the item to see if you are pleased with it before shipping. If you have any questions, please contact me.

---Wholesale pricing:
Wholesale pricing is available for large orders, generally at 40-50% off the list price, just contact me for details.

--- Locals:
If you are local to my area (Dutchess County, NY) feel free to contact me about vending at your event or selling my items in your store. I love working with my neighbors and I hope to see you at a craft fair someday!

Thank you and enjoy,
Amber Hawkinson
