Shipping
All domestic shipments are made using US postal priority mail with delivery confirmation.

I ship all international items using US postal international first class registered mail. Up to 3 Items purchased together can be combined into one shipment. A small commercial value will be declared on the item (usually $10). I have found this to be the most secure and most reasonably priced method of international shipment. If you prefer greater measures be taken, the shipping cost may have to be adjusted. I try to deliver each item in the safest and most secure way possible, however I cannnot be responible for damage in transport or customs charges should the package be held for any reason.

I do my very best to provide secure packaging for each item and can not be held responsible for damage which has occurred in transit.

Should you choose to return an item, the refund price will not include shipping.
Refunds and Exchanges
I work very hard to ensure that items are made with the highest level of craftsmanship, but sometimes things just break. If a piece is rather delicate, light or made of fragile materials such as mother of pearl, enamel and semi precious stones, the piece should be treated in the same way as one might treat a piece of fine china- carefully. Repairs to elements like these will be charged a fee. Prices are determined on a case by case basis.

If a metal piece breaks within 30 days of purchase due to a flaw in craftsmanship (a solder seam breaks, a chain link pops open or a casting cracks), please contact me to discuss arrangements to correct the problem. Very often a buyer can send the prematurely damaged piece back to me and I will return it repaired and free of charge.

Occasionally a piece is damaged due to general wear or hard use. (I love it when a buyer wears my jewelry all the time, but activities like contact sports, looking after toddlers who like to grab shiny things, creating very acidic cooking, or operating heavy machinery can result in damage to jewelry). When damage occurs, it can be fixed for a fee determined on a case by case basis.

Since I work in traditional jewelry materials like silver, gold and precious gems, pieces belonging to buyers who live at a distance can usually be repaired or resized by a reputable local jeweler if more convenient.
Additional policies and FAQs
Message from the seller:
Thank you so much for purchasing a piece of my jewelry. Please be aware that each piece is hand made to order and may take up to 3 weeks to create and ship. If you need an item sooner, please be sure to contact me.

Each piece is hand made and signed by me (the artist). Payment may also be made by credit card over the phone. Simply contact me through an etsy convo or through my website: www.amieplante.com
