These are very pretty shells and are just like in the photo although the color seems to be richer of course and the shells are in excellent condition and I will probably buy another bag in the near future.

About

Legit jewelry made by a fifteen year-old high school girl. Whaaaat...

It started in 2005 when I was a sophomore in high school. I had a full supply of seed beads from my craft bucket. I was making stretchy bracelets, which were all the rage at the time. After making dozens for myself, I realized that I could make these more personal. I asked my mother (who is the queen of flea markets, antique stores, and the coolest vintage loot you could ever find) if she had anything I could use to customize these bracelets. There happened to be box full of vintage matchbooks she purchased from Ebay in our craft room. I dug through that box and found matchbooks with the quirkiest graphics, and cut them out and made charms out of them. Soon after I made matchbook earrings too. This became the start of Amity Treasures Jewelry. This was the beginning of my career of making jewelry out of vintage and antique jewelry/objects. My first sale was on consignment with a fabulous local boutique, Blue 7, and since the matchbook earrings, I have created bracelets, keychains, rings, brooches, hair pieces, necklaces, magnets, and so many other pieces. This is my passion, and I will forever go to estate sales and flea markets on the weekends hoping to find the best loved vintage jewelry.
