Girls Really Do Love Diamonds

As a single 30 something with all my lady friends getting engaged around me - I got a little diamond envy - and I've been collecting some fabulous jewelry :) My parents got married (in the 80's!) with a custom sapphire and diamond engagement ring and a vintage wedding band set with diamond chips. Later on as an anniversary gift my father purchased a flashy new diamond ring set to replace my mothers set (now antique!) and they used the gemstones from her original engagement ring to have a pair of earrings made. My mother gave her original wedding band to me and it was my first piece of diamond jewelry. I love the idea of re-purposing jewelry and starting out with affordable vintage wedding rings so you can pay for other big things (like homes & babies!). I plan to expand this shop to include handmade items; my hobbies include metal casting, welding, 3D printing, laser cutting, sewing, & photography. I hope the proceeds from my sales of vintage items will allow me to purchase raw materials & take courses in gemology. All metals & stones are tested and guaranteed! <3 Amorette

I've opened this shop as a hobby and I've started out with a collection of vintage fine jewelry and I plan to expand to include handmade, photography prints, vintage apparel, and restored vintage jewelry.

All photos are taken under 4000K LED light in my home studio. Images may be larger than life! Please check listing for sizes.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Refunds will only be given for items returned in the original condition you received them in.

Face masks are non returnable for hygiene reasons.

USA customers only: If you have chosen "Free Domestic Shipping" returns will be charged a restocking fee depending on order price: 10% fee up to $150 item price, 7% fee $151-$500 item price, 5% fee from $501+ item price. This is to cover my shipping and handling expenses.

If you have purchased shipping "Priority Mail," "Express" or "Express International" the refund amount will be the cost paid for items only. Shipping price paid will not be refunded.

You are responsible for return shipping fees. Please return in original packaging, or equivalent. Postal insurance and tracking are recommended to protect you against loss or damage during shipping. Note: USPS Priority mail includes $50 insurance and tracking, additional insurance may be added at the post office.

Refunds will be given through original purchase means only (Etsy or PayPal Invoice).
Please pay through Etsy or Paypal. Choose "Other" for a PayPal Invoice you may pay over 90 days. I am located in MA, USA so taxes apply for residents of my state. For International customers a VAT may apply which is payable only when you pick up your item at customs. After I receive your order and payment in full I will contact you with shipping information. Please contact me promptly if you wish to make any changes to your order before it is shipped.
I ship all items insured for total amount paid for the item(s) in case of loss or damage. Purchases over $250 will require Signature on Delivery. Please note due to COVID-19 concerns Signature on Delivery may not be enforced by USPS.

For USPS Priority Mail shipping Domestic is 2-3 day, Canada is 6-10 day, International will take up to 30 days - depending on destination. International buyers are required to pay VAT to receive purchases, depending on their country. The customs declaration value will be the sale price.

In the event of loss or damage during shipping please contact me so I can file an insurance claim. Please send photos of damage to the shipping box and item to verify and aid in compensation via insurance. Please do not discard packaging and/or item. If items are marked as delivered by USPS and have not shown up yet give them a few more days, items marked as delivered will not be eligible for insurance claims.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Jewelry is shipped in a gift box or original vintage box where available. Select "This order is a gift" at checkout for complementary gift wrap.

Custom and personalized orders

At this time I do not offer customization on any of my items. Please decide if you will keep any jewelry purchased before having work done by a jeweler as modified jewelry will not be accepted for return.

Is there Sales Tax on my purchase?

Sales tax will only be applied to orders for customers purchasing from Massachusetts, USA.

For EU customers: VAT may be applicable, this tax is not paid at the time of purchase and will be due on pickup from customs or post office.

Do you offer Layaway / Split Payments or Holds?

Message me to make a custom listing for split payments.

10% nonrefundable deposit. Included in your first payment, not billed separately.

Length of layaway is negotiable up to 90 day term.

Your item(s) will be shipped when the invoice is paid in full.

Layaway items may be returned, less the 10% deposit, subject to our return policy.

What is the "Domestic Free Shipping" option?

USPS First-Class Mail package, with tracking and insurance. Delivery time will vary depending on your distance from Boston, MA. You may select Priority or Express upgrade options for faster shipping if your order is urgent. A description of the shipping options is available at USPS:

Do you size rings?

In order to offer returns on purchases I do not offer ring sizing services. Custom orders are non-refundable so I prefer to give the customer the option to have a change of heart when they are selecting from my jewelry. I recommend taking vintage jewelry to a reputable local bench jeweler for sizing and routine maintenance.
