Style can exist on a budget when a passion for vintage evolves.
I volunteer for a non-profit organization who holds a fashion show every year. The items in the fashion show were not the latest trends... until local designers stepped in. From donated dresses ranging from ugly, outdated, torn and stained, these designers took the dresses home and came back with fabulous pieces that women fought over. That's where my passion started.
The idea of wearing vintage is not new. The idea of repurposing garments is nothing new as well. In times of financial struggle, wives and mothers were forced to be creative in order to keep up with their neighbors without spending a fortune. These women are inspiring.
I want to be a part of the voice that tells women today that you don't have to have all of the money in the world to live the life (or have the closet) you dream of. With simple skills, minimal resources, patience, creativity, and the ability to envision something that doesn't yet exist, it's possible to make dreams come true.
I challenge myself to treasure hunt and to find both exquisite vintage pieces and also torn, stained, giant, and ugly pieces. I put a spotlight on the beauty of vintage and also salvage vintage by refashioning (remending) garments into something I would wear on the street tomorrow.
Make do and [re]mend; discover previously-made vintage garments and proudly make room for each one in your wardrobe. Keep the items as they originally were or refashion them to fit modern styles.
Owner, Maker, Designer, Curator, Photographer
A frugal fashion merchandising student with expensive taste.
Here, you'll find everything from vintage and refashioned clothing to household items with charm. This shop is devoted mainly to vintage and refashioned clothing and accessories that I have discovered, made, tweaked, and would wear.
The vintage items in this shop are in excellent condition. Any damage I notice will be noted in the listing. There may be instances of small wear that goes unnoticed. Please be aware of this before purchasing. I take the time to repair easy fixes, which will also be noted.
One of my favorite past times is to attempt refashioning clothing. My sewing knowledge isn't as advanced as I want it to be, but I learn different techniques on every piece of clothing and I only post finished items that I am proud of.

I carefully inspect the items that I put up for sale and report any damage, but may accidently miss something occasionally. Keep in mind that I'm a perfectionist and so if something doesn't bother me, it most likely won't bother anyone else.
If you have a problem with your package, please message me directly; I'm here to serve you and want you to be happy with your purchase and experience!
Additional policies and FAQs
I measure each garment flat, and double the measurements that involve width. Please base your fit decisions on the actual measurements listed in the description, and not approx. size.
If you have any questions about fit of an item, feel free to message me directly. It can also be a good idea to buy a fabric measuring tape & compare the measurements of the item to those of a similar style garment you own.
Please note that I do not grant returns on items that do not fit.
Please keep in mind, I also sell clothing that is a larger size than that of the model in the photographs.
To photograph larger items, the clothing is occasionally pinned or belted to fit the model. When this is the case, it will always be noted in the description.
If you love a particular one of a kind vintage piece, you can always take it to a tailor and have them custom fit it to you!
