We love how this (yellow gradient) butter crock looks, and it works great too! I've wanted a butter crock for a while and I'm glad I held out until I found one I really like aesthetically. It's so nice to have easily-spreadable (yet safe) butter readily available in the kitchen. The contour of the inner bell makes for easy scooping with the tip of the knife.

One-of-a-kind, functional pottery meant to be used and enjoyed.

Hello! I am a New York City-based potter who rediscovered pottery in 2010 upon making a career change and taking a 6-month work hiatus. The small Upper West Side studio in which I worked truly embraced me, and in turn, I embraced clay as my medium to work with.

After shifting from years of hand-building to wheel-throwing, I expanded my pottery horizons to new clay bodies and different atmospheric firings. My current work is functional, meaning that it is meant to be used, and my preferred methods of firing are atmospheric — gas reduction, salt, wood — due to the rich colors and textures and unexpected results.

In March 2020, with the global pandemic closing down businesses all around me, including my studio, I bought a wheel and set up my own make-shift, at-home pandemic pottery studio. Now, the pandemic has pushed me to build my own business that includes creating, showing, and selling my work as well as helping other makers promote and sell their wares. And I am more grateful than ever to be able to create work for people to use and enjoy!
