We Make Art.
Amy started this shop a couple years ago wanting to share her love for handmade objects. She started with jewelry, primarily bottle cap earrings. Rusty Bouvier is a new artist joining Handmade Theory. He will sell his ceramic work here.
Enjoy the handmade.

There is a theory of handmade. I am out to find that theory. Here is my own interpretation of what Handmade Theory is for me.
I love handmade items. There is just so much more passion, love, and effort put into an item that is handmade. Making an item for someone is that extra step; thinking about him/her personally, thinking about color choices, and thinking about their likes and dislikes. It's made specifically for that person. I appreciate someone making a card or a simple note. To me, there's more thought and effort than just something bought from a store. So, Theory of the Handmade goes as follows: a) passion for the object and person equally, b) specific thought process for an item made for someone to wear, use, hang, read, or other uses, c) not all handmade items are CUSTOM made for someone, however, handmade items are all made FOR someone, hopefully, and lastly d) handmade items have a touch of a unique process, so there will be imperfections and quirks.
