5 out of 5 starsGreat pattern. Lots of pictures - good for a novice like me. The directions are clear, and the instructions for choosing, cutting and applying the rug backing are also clear. First time I've ever seen such. When making a true rag rug, don't need backing - just lacing the braids together with a bodkin and the weight of the fabric braids holds it in place. With Crochet yarns, however, not enough weight, thickness or depth to truly create a 'rug'. Even using two layers of crocheted pieces doesn't work, still too weak. This method looks to solve that, depending on individual taste, need and functionality. I'm well pleased! Thank you.

5 out of 5 starsThis was a great pattern. It was simplified and easy to understand. This is a very light, loose, open chain shawl. I was initially confused on my first attempt at crocheting this shawl. I am new to working with written patterns and I am a visual learner, so my trouble was figuring out how the pattern decreased. I read through the pattern several times and then I was able to work it out. I stopped my decreases at a place where I felt comfortable. I added a different edging than what the pattern had asked for. I would have liked it if the pictures featured in the shop actually displayed the honeycomb design.

When I was ten, my mother taught me how to knit - thanks Mom! Little did she know how greatly that would impact my life so many years later! My life has taken many twists and turns through the years since I was ten, but I always come back to knitting and crocheting. Making beautiful things from yarn is an anchor in my life. Just feeling a gorgeous skein of yarn sets off a lightening burst of creativity in me and is all the inspiration I need for my next design.
I love that through my patterns I get to connect with so many like-minded knitters and crocheters. We are a beautiful sisterhood (and brotherhood!) of artisans! Each and every one of my patterns comes from my heart. I love the process. I love to create. And my only hope is that you will enjoy making my creations into special pieces for your life!
