Announcement   Ana Pina combines the unpredictability and movement of the trace with the inherited geometry of her architectural background in the creation of pieces that mix traditional jewelry techniques and contemporary concepts of design, electing the graphic expression of the brushed silver and the refinement of ethnic inspiration of plated gold as material and finish of choice.

Unique pieces or limited collections combine elements of a common vocabulary in a game of contrasts and textures, geometric relations and asymmetries, as if they were letters building words inserted in a bigger text.

>> Each jewel is individually handcrafted in my Porto-based studio.
Most of items are made to order and their estimated production times are clearly stated. If you're in a hurry to a specific date, please contact me and I will do my best to meet the deadline. Thank you!

Another great piece of jewelry from Ana Pina...I am surprised she has any merchandise left I have ordered so much. Some I keep for myself; others for gifts. Great customer service, fast delivery.

Tiny little chain ring that looks great alone or paired with her other pieces. I bought stackable rings from Solar Collection and wear with those rings to add a soft, interesting touch. Ana is so nice to work with....great customer service and jewelry is sent in lovely gift boxes

About

Contemporary jewelry, by Ana Pina

Ana Pina was born in 1980, in Porto, Portugal, city where she studied, still lives and works.
When little, she’d always preferred to draw with crayons than to play with legos, but ended up studying architecture.
After working a few years in this area, she decided to hear her inner voice and follow a more creative path as a freelancer, venturing herself in the wonderful world of jewelry.

In July of 2012 she completes the Contemporary Jewelry course in the school Engenho e Arte, in which she develops new creative and technical skills.
In June of 2015 she launches a new project and opens the doors of Tincal lab - a virtual platform and jewelry atelier, in Porto's city center.

In her jewelry line she creates unique pieces or in limited series, combining traditional jewelry techniques and contemporary concepts of design, in search of a modern and feminine style.
She's influenced by drawing, color, the nature of materials, contrasts and textures, geometric relations and asymmetries.

Some of her favorite things include: cats, the color red, chocolate, shoes, books, music, cinema, travels and yoga.
