Traditional Techniques | Modern Design
My passion for jewelry began when I was a child. My Mom, who loves to collect antiques would set me free while she shopped and chatted with her favorite proprietor and dear friend "Aunt Toni". Being no more than three feet tall at the time, the only thing at eye level the were dazzling displays of fine jewelry. As I got older, Aunt Toni would let me spend my time in the store trying on various pieces and soaking up as much information and experience as possible.
Always in motion and in search of a creative outlet, I experimented with and took classes in every genre of craft and arts possible including card making, scrap-booking, painting, drawing, sewing and photography.
I decided to turn my creativity and love of problem solving into a daytime career and studied Mechanical Engineering at Boston University and eventually landed a job in the field designing specialty doors.
I'm a tinkerer: I love finding projects to keep my hands busy. This mindset is what eventually brought me to jewelry design. A strong believer in DIY, I dove head first into jewelry making. What began as a small hobby trying to recreate themes I found in fashion magazines, has become a serious labor of love. My analytical and detail oriented background has given me the ability to teach myself techniques as I've needed them and find new and inventive ways to apply my inspiration.
Like my Mom, I have always loved antiques and also take inspiration from Victorian, Edwardian and Art Nouveau themes and items. My starting point in crafting included the Victorian craft of French Beading Flowers. Using this traditional technique and others, I add my own clever flair to create modern and unique designs that fit in everywhere from the catwalk to the sidewalk..

Additional policies and FAQs
Looking for bridesmaids gifts? Many of my items can be made in small quantities based upon the complexity of the design and the supplies I have in stock. Send me a message to inquire about a specific piece!
How custom orders work:
You contact me with a description of an idea or inspiration photos including the following information
- Price range you're willing to spend
- Desired chain length, or earring drop
- Desired material (ie. Gold Filled, Sterling Silver, Gold/Silver Plate)
- Clasp/ Earring Back Preference
- Date you need it delivered by
Once I have these details I can get to work drawing a sketch and working up a price which I will then send to you for approval. At this time I will also be able to give you a more accurate idea of how long it will take to create your item.
This is a perfect time to make changes! I encourage you to ask questions and make clarifications so that we both can be absolutely positive that I understand what you are looking for.
Once you have approved the design, I will create a Custom listing for you for the full amount of the order. Orders must be paid in full before I will start work on the item(s).
Adjustments/add ons made after this point may be subject to an extra charge if redesign/additional materials are required.
When the piece is completed I will take detailed photographs to send to you to make sure it is exactly what you desired and make any final tweaks and adjustments.
Approval of the final detailed photos is official approval of the design. No more amendments can be made or rejections accepted on grounds of disliking design, materials used, size etc after the final approval and signed off and in the mail.
When I put it in the mail I will send you confirmation and tracking for your order.
