AnchoredHope

You know that stage in life where you're going to 15 weddings in one summer? Well, I've moved on to the stage where everyone is now having babies and we were spending tons of money on gifts. I realized that I could make baby gifts instead, giving more and saving money, and new mama's loved them, so I created my little adventure, Anchored Hope.

The name, Anchored Hope, was inspired by my faith. In the old Testament, before the people used the cross and Jesus to look to as a reminder of God's faithfulness, they used an anchor as their symbol. Hebrews 6:19: "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure."

I wouldn't have anything if I didn't have Jesus in me, and my shop is just one little reminder of that.

The only place for me to sew, is at our kitchen table...with a three year old and a one year old running around, but it makes life interesting right? Ha!

My shop is still kind of a newbie, but it's okay, I've learned so much and hopefully I and my shop will continue to grow. It's already been such an amazing journey, I'm excited to see what comes next.
