Welcome to Anchor Line Vintage - where every item listed comes with a story (please click "More" in the listing for all the item's details). The only thing I love more than finding new treasures is when you give new life and love to the treasures I find. I have been very touched by the stories and photos you have shared with me. I hope you continue to do so.
Please visit my shop often. I have many items yet to list, and I am always on the hunt for more. I pride myself on researching the history and function of the items I list, and will continue to bring you every item's back story (including provenance) to the best of my ability, because it provides the anchor between its past and your present. After your purchase, its story will become your story, and it honors me to be a part of that connection.

5 out of 5 starsThese are perfect! I had a simple amber rhinestone necklace and a gold mesh bracelet with small amber rhinestones along the edges. I needed a very simple set of amber rhinestone earrings to complete the set, and these are an exact match. I'm so pleased!

5 out of 5 starsStunning! I had been looking for a patriotic brooch. This is it. The photo did not do it justice. It's so sparkly and a nice size. Not small at all. Very nicely packaged too! I highly recommend this seller.

Happiness is gving previously loved items a new home for more years of loving use.
Welcome to my shop!
I love antique and vintage treasures. And it seems, the older I get, the more I love them. Little of my home décor and furnishings are new. I’m surrounded by seasoned antiques and well-loved items from yesteryear. A big reason I like older items is because things today just aren’t made like they used to be. Back then, pieces were crafted to last for years, or even for generations.
I also prefer more traditional furniture and décor. (Modern is not for me!) I love Queen Anne and Victorian styles in dark woods of mahogany and cherry with a simple color palette of navy and white. My home is decorated in a nautical style that is 1800s whaling captain meets Newport, Rhode Island, yacht club.
The transition from purchasing antiques and vintage treasures for myself and acquiring them for sale was rather serendipitous. My beau, an industrious yacht broker, expanded his entrepreneurial talents into the “Storage Wars” and estate sale arenas. (He’s a busy man!) When he started that second business, I thought it would be fun to attend estate auctions with him. After the first time, I was hooked.
I saw so many beautiful items that I knew someone else would love, as I did. Rather than see them destined for flea markets and garage sales – or worse, the trash! – I decided that these treasures couldn’t be cast aside. I had to give these previously loved items an opportunity to have a new home.
And thus, my Etsy shop was born. But what to name it? Well, after growing up near Newport, RI (a yachting mecca), and now living on the coast of South Carolina, I love all things nautical. My home exudes that passion, so I decided my shop’s name should, as well. I chose Anchor Line Vintage because it not only reflects my passion for the sea, but it also represents ties to the past – vintage items that anchor us to our history and those who came before us.
Because of this tie to the past, I try my best to create listings that include the history of the item – the country of origin, the manufacturer, what the piece was used for, or interesting trivia of the time period.
It is my pleasure to offer you the antique and vintage treasures that I find at auctions and estate sales in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. I am happy to know that through my shop, previously loved items are passed on to other families for more years of loving use.

Frequently asked questions
What if my purchase arrives damaged or is lost in transit?
I do my best to package all orders with appropriate foam, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, etc. Unfortunately, there are rare occasions when the post office delivers a damaged item.
Should your item arrive damaged, please save the item and all packaging and convo me and attach pictures of the damaged item and the packaging. This will assist me in making the insurance claim for your refund. Insurance claims are done online, but your local post office may require inspecting the damaged item and the box it came in. I will notify you once the claim is complete.
SHIPPING ADDRESS ISSUES
Please note that I will ship only to domestic addresses that are confirmed with the USPS via Etsy. Packages cannot be shipped to unconfirmed addresses.
