The case is beautiful and offers maximum protection. The secret compartment is not easy to open, but you wouldn't want it to pop open by accident, so I think it's a good thing.

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS on both your Etsy account and your Paypal account. It is the responsibility of the BUYER to provide the correct information. I try to ship as fast as possible and do my best to cross reference both for accuracy. I'll do my best to work buyers in the event they provided incorrect information, but I am not responsible for such mistakes. There is usually little that can be done once an item has shipped.
UNITED STATES BUYERS - a tracking link will be provided to you for all domestic US shipments via PayPal. All shipments are sent first class USPS unless you contacted me in advance to arrange for alternate premium shipping services like Fed Ex.
I do ship to USA and Canada for all items. Select items may be available to ship to toher countries. Most of my items have international shipping noted. If not listed, please contact me for international pricing.
- Please allow 2-3 weeks for your international shipment to arrive.
- Tracking information is not available unless you contacted me in advance to arrange for very costly international Fed Ex shipping. Each country has their own postal service and most do not cooperate to provide a standardized international tracking system that works across borders. I hope someday they do.
CANADA - all of the above also applies. Items shipped to Canada from the US sometimes arrive in a week and sometimes in a month. Canada Post often holds a high number of international packages at the border for security inspection. This can unfortunately delay your package by several days or even weeks depending on the volume of inspections they are handling. Please be patient.
INTERNATIONAL Taxes (VAT)
Every country has different rules when it comes to taxing imported items. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay any required import taxes or duties that may be assessed on the items ordered. This will usually be collected by your postal service if it applies. Most European and UK destinations will charge a VAT tax on imports. Please familiarize yourself with your local tax laws before ordering so that there are no surprises. Leaving bad feedback for any etsy seller just because you didn't do your homework and had to pay your local import taxes on your purchase is EXTREMELY BAD KARMA.
If for some reason your package has not shown up after three weeks - Please contact me by using the contact link on the left or email me directly at chris [!at] ancientartizen.com so that I am aware of the situation and can assist you in tracking it or sending a replacement.
Expedited shipping can be arranged through USPS, UPS or FedEx, but you must contact me in advance (prior to purchasing) for estimated costs and options. All items are otherwise shipped first class USPS / international USPS
In case of damage during shipment - please contact me right away so that I can get a replacement to you if possible and take necessary steps with the post office on insured items. Please note that damage must be reported immediately upon receipt of the item.
Refunds and Exchanges
Returns & Exchanges are handled on a case by case basis. Any concerns or damages must be reported immediately upon receiving the item or if a defect occurs within 60 days. I try to provide very timely and friendly customer service on everything I sell in my shop. Etsy.com is a community of artists and crafters. Items here are not mass produced and not factory perfect. In general think of it like buying something from an artist that lives in your neighborhood. Certain etiquette applies here that is different than buying from the corporate big box store.
If you are unhappy with your purchase, or if something shows up damaged. It is expected that you will contact the Etsy artist directly to let them know to arrange for a return, replacement or a refund. Should you experience a defect within 60 days - please contact me here on etsy or chris [!at] ancientartizen.com. Please send pictures if possible. Pictures of any defect are very helpful in addressing quality issues in production or with part suppliers to keep my products of high quality.
The following is considered VERY bad etsy etiquette - Please don't ever do this to any Etsy artist.
- Marking an envelope return to sender because you changed your mind.
- Returning an item to the seller with no advance notice, no note of explanation in the package or any communication at all. I don't have a problem with returns - but please contact me in advance and let us know you're returning it.
- Leaving negative or neutral feedback about a damaged / defective item without contacting the etsy seller first to let them know your item was damaged shipment or defective. Again - we're not the box store and there's no reason to be mean.
- Leaving negative or neutral feedback because you ordered the wrong case model, print size or didn't read the listing.
- Leaving negative feedback or sending the etsy seller nasty messages because you had to pay import taxes on your item. This is always the buyers responsibility - please familiarize yourself with your local laws on import duties / VAT taxes.
- Buying a product with the intention of duplicating it or to review as competition and then returning it.
All of the above will surely bring you very bad karma.
Additional policies and FAQs
I only use my own artwork and photography. This can be limiting, but it keeps me out of trouble in regards to copyright and legal issues.
The above also applies to iPhone cases. If you see a piece of my artwork you like, but it is not available as an iPhone case - don't be afraid to ask. But I can't create a case for you with someone else's trademarked logo or artwork.
I have done some freelance work and commissioned collage work. I'm very choosey about my projects as I like to make sure that I have the time to do it well and some artistic freedom in what I do.

CONSIGNMENT / WHOLESALE
I am based in the Denver metro area and am willing to consider local consignment.
Please contact me for wholesale inquiry. Wholesale pricing may only be available on select items. I do have a retail / wholesale tax license registered in the state of Colorado.
I do license my artwork for commercial / business use. Non profit organization may be granted royalty free use on a case-by-case basis.

All of my artwork is copyright protected. The purchase of a print does NOT grant you license for publication, reproduction, public or business use. Please do not download my images for your personal or business use without permission. I have taken legal remedy in the past when my artwork has been used without permission. Copyright infringement is VERY bad karma.
