Why andKate??

It all started with a love of designing fun and beautiful things! My husband and I have 5 kids, and I stay at home with them and homeschool, so having an outlet on the side was important to me too! Years and years ago my husband and I worked together to create painted wooden signs. He would measure, cut and sand, and I would add my designs and paint. Eventually, things needed to change. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at a young age, and it was really catching up to me. The repetitive nature of creating the wood signs just got to be too painful in my hands. I knew I wanted to be able to still create designs, so I turned digital! I found I could still follow my passion of design while saving my hands and body from lots of pain. This was such a clear reminder to me that in the midst of frustrating and difficult things, God always has an "AND" for me.
