Hello! We are a team of two - Kim & Tim! We are from the Land of OZ – Kansas, USA!

Kim has been a budding amateur crafter/artist/graphic designer for many years. She is passionate about lifelong learning and creativity! She had just never made a career out of it. It was just a hobby that made her giddy with happiness!

It wasn’t until Kim stumbled across the zentangling, doodling, and coloring craze that she discovered more of what she was capable of doing! Especially in terms of expanding her artistic skills! The process was a confidence builder, which pushed her to make a decision to really do something about her creative side and make a business out of it! Why can she not earn a living doing something she loves doing and have fun with?! So, Kim is creating on to empower, encourage and inspire the same opportunity to others! Hence, she opened up this store in April of 2014 as The Purple O, which has now changed to Anderson Designs in 2019!

The Creativity Planners are an integral part of Anderson Designs humble beginnings! Kim is very proud to have designed the Creativity Planner from scratch from the very front cover to the back cover! Every detail about the Creativity Planner was exclusively designed and chosen by her. It is the greatest graphic design achievement of hers - she never thought this was something she could do or create - but she did! She still has to PINCH herself every time she plays with her Planner! She designed it with the idea of adding LIFE to it - she got tired of all the black and white/ blah colors in most planners - decided to make it VIBRANT - just like life! She also realized that she didn't like planners telling her how to organize her life - instead she wanted a planner that actually boosted and nurtured her creative side and encouraged her to be a better human being! So, ta-da - The Creativity Planner!

When you purchase something from this shop - you are supporting a Deaf business and empowering women too! Kim is very proud to be Deaf and wants the world to know that anyone can do whatever they set their mind to! Speaking of empowering women . . . if not for a very special woman on the other side of the planet - Sophia - this planner would not have come to fruition! She provided EXCEPTIONAL customer service in the printing and binding process of the Creativity Planner! It was a HUGE learning curve for Kim in learning how it all worked and the logistics of getting them to the USA! Kim and Sophia had no communication barriers - thanks to technology and the internet! Loved the fact that both were supporting each other in their respective ways of making a living and making a difference in this world! Women empowering women is a powerful thing!

Tim is Kim's better half and brings his creative talents with technology and DIY projects to the business. Both Kim and Tim are excited to work together to create products for folks to enjoy and appreciate!
