What a beautiful and stylish hat. Stunning workmanship. I am thrilled to have found a hat that is so unlike the standard mother of the bride fluffy fascinator type. I hope both me and my outfit will do it justice.

I received my "Monroe" boater hat today and it is divine--superb craftsmanship. It was carefully wrapped in copious amounts of paper and tape to ensure it wouldn't soil while in transit from the U.K. to the U.S. It is simply gorgeous. (Now I need to find a hat pin.) I look forward to wearing it! UPDATE (20/04/2017): I wore this hat and I received SO MANY compliments! Outstanding craftsmanship and it holds up well in the southern U.S. heat.

The hat is beautiful and very well-constructed, with a lot of attention to detail. And it fits perfectly! Thank you so much!

The cherry on the cake...

Edie discovered her creative spirit at a young age and has since garnered millinery fans in fashion, press and celebrity circles. She spent an immensely intense and rewarding few years in tuition with millinery historian Jane Smith, which gave her the opportunity to develop as a designer and find her own unique style. She creates sculptural hats, including those made from fine straw braids.

Edie insists on handling materials whilst designing, eschewing the sketching process altogether to focus on touch and observation as a means of investigating every possibility before deciding upon the hats final form. She specialises in creating beautiful couture hats with a timeless aesthetic: each one with a story to tell of their own.

Her hat styles oscillate between art and fashion; they orbit around sculpture and hairstyle. Original hats have been spotted at Royal Ascot, Melbourne Cup and the Queens Annual Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. Edie has designed hats for artists performing at the Brit Awards and numerous special events around the world. Her millinery studio is situated in a creative hub of central London.

Welcome! All of our products are made to order. They are individually made, one at a time. Great care and attention is given over to each piece. Hand dyed and natural materials used may have subtle colour or texture variations making each handmade item unique special.

Please note traditional couture methods are used to create our straw braid hats. This can mean that 'making time' can vary depending on the volume of orders we have received. Currently, making time will be around 2-3 weeks for straw hats, and 1-2 weeks for our smaller straw pieces.

Rush orders are sometimes possible, simply send me a message to discuss what you need and when you need it for. I'm happy to help if I possibly can
