I bet I can do that...
That's pretty much been how everything's started with me. I see something, get interested, and try to re-create it! Sometimes it's not re-creating, but just downright creating what my mind sees. I've had help along the way - my grandmothers encouraging sewing and crocheting as a child, and a good friend teaching me the basics of knitting. My mother helped me sew a dress in middle school. My great-grandfather and my grandmother loved their gardens. And a dear friend taught me the basics of quilting a year or so before my first baby was born. I love to create, and I love to plant seeds and watch them grow! I rarely adhere to "that shouldn't work", as long as it's not dangerous, and I've found many fun things to make and grow! I'm still learning as I go, as we all do, and loving it all! Now, through my Etsy shop, I can share some of those creations and seeds with you, for your own experiments!

I"ve always had a fascination with how things are made, and mostly self-taught myself to crochet and sew, with encouragement from my grandmothers. I also learned knitting as a child from a good friend.
I guess now's my chance to let you know a little about me and what I sell and guidelines I operate by, so here goes:
I'm a housewife and mom of 3 little ones, learning to navigate the world of homeschooling! I love to garden and do crafts in my down time, and making a little income off of it helps to ease my hubby's burden a bit!
In the garden, I like to follow organic practices for my family's sake, so you can rest assured the seeds you buy don't have any pesticides or other yucky stuff on them! Only heirloom seeds make the cut in my garden. I like the ability to regrow what I like, instead of having to rebuy each year. I also like to know that these are time-tested varieties, known for their flavor and durability. I make my own seed packets, and package according to what I would like to see sold more - packets aimed more at the suburban gardener instead of the homesteader. We just don't all have that much room, so I offer smaller seed quantities conducive to backyard gardening! =)
In the craft department, I like to keep it varied. I sew, crochet, and knit. I like to keep my hands and mind busy both at home and away. I have more recently discovered quilting, and that I love it!! I have made a number of quilts now for my family, and you will be seeing some for sale as I get the chance to make some extras. I do take custom orders and would love suggestions you'd like to see sold, so please let me know! =)
I price all of my crafts according to actual working time it takes to make them. If you have a question about the price of an item, please feel free to ask!

I will, as a default, use first-class shipping, unless otherwise specified. If you desire a faster shipping time, I will work with you to find out the extra cost so that you can add it into your payment. Should you want to add insurance to your order, that cost is above what I have posted on my listings. Unfortunately, once the order is put into the mail system, I can no longer account for it. I will make sure that it is mailed out just as specified, but USPS is responsible thereafter.
