wonderful treasures from wonderful women
i started loving vintage items through my familly. angeline, the shop's namesake was my great aunt. she had a collecting obsession, it unfortunately created a situation in which she could not enjoy the things that she had held on to. after her passing, i was able to learn so much about her and the things that she owned. a very snappy dresser, she kept everything from her fanciest time, in the 40's and 50's.
having angeline's items and collecting from other wonderful women has taught me a lot about these lovely ladies. whenever possible, i try to pass on the story of the items history and something about their owners.
in having a relationship with each piece, you can be guaranteed that they have had tlc since the time that i have taken them in to my life.
sometimes it's hard to see a piece leave, but i know it is going to someone else that will love it just as much. please enjoy these treasures and be touched by these women's stories.
