My trusty pin cushion and sewing machine.
A small part of my fabric stash.

Two of the very first patchworks owls I made.
Best friends forever.

My creative pursuits started in painting and drawing, but since taking up sewing, I have found a new addiction - fabric and all its possibilities!

As much as I am for progress and technology in the digital age that we live in, I think there’s a special and charming quality about something handmade.

It’s a labor of love, like the blankets my mother made from colorful scraps of fabric. She made a blanket for each one of her children and now her children’s children can be wrapped in the same blanket of love. It is something I admire and treasure dearly.

Apart from sewing, painting and drawing, I like to crochet. I also enjoy working on our little farm, raising chickens, goats and sheep. Even though I was born in Singapore and now live in the USA, I still call Australia home.
