I (J.Swank, hi there!) started Angry Tooth in 1999 as a mini comic book inspired by a great quote from Plutarch, "He cares not who beares an angry tooth." My existentially angsty title character demanded more than the panels containing him and by 2003 I was cutting out little plush tooth templates on the floor of a seedy Portland apartment.

Time has certainly moved, but here Angry Tooth still is. We've expanded into silkscreening and other vices &, as of June 2018, moved to Southern Oregon to drop out of the rat race and focus on Angry Tooth full time. I am so very pleased to be offering my small-edition sustainably-ingrediented creations to the etsy community!

When you buy from Angry Tooth you are supporting a small 1-woman business and helping to keep fabric waste out of landfills- and that's like a double good just by itself because a garment stays out of the trash PLUS you don't provide a market for another piece of fast fashion.
