Awhile ago my husband mentioned that there were two things that improved the quality of his day; good coffee and the amazing soap I had been buying from our local farmers market. The soap was fabulous, and the crafter in me was dying to know how to make it myself, especially if something so basic could make someone's day a little better! After checking out as many book on soap making from the library I set to work to teach myself how to make soap.

Turns out that my years as a cook and baker combined with my crafty/artistic streak are a great combination for making soap. I began testing out recipes I found, tweaking them to get the attributes I wanted and researched all the ingredients available to me. Asking people what they cared about in a soap, what they wanted.

This shop is the result of that work, and it is still a work in progress. Recipes are always been added, changed and improved. Feedback from my customers will drive the changes that take place, and I hope you'll share your thoughts with me.

Will this soap change the world? Unlikely. But, this soap is beautiful to look at, smells amazing and will make you smile when you use it. It will make you smile to smell it on someone you love. It will add a little joy into your day, and I think that matters. And while this soap does all that for you, it's also vegan, cruelty free, environmentally friendly, and a portion of every purchase is donated to a non-profit in the Knoxville community that works to "Build a bigger table, not a higher wall."
