My Studio (which I share with my car) not normally this clean and tidy ;).. had to take a pic so it would last longer :D
Self taught artist who loves playing with clay
I’m natural born artist (that’s what my mum tells me) Self taught, everything I've learned about clay is by trial and error LOTs of error (oh and the internet...where would we be without it.) I’ve always been into arts and crafts and growing up my room was always declared a disaster area, no one dared to enter but me, my parents would tell me “For God’s sake Anita tidy your room” and I always went in there with good intentions but would then discover a half finished project I had to do :)
Years later in 2005 I discovered ceramic clay and have been creating porcelain & stoneware creatures since then. (And funnily enough my studio is in a pretty similar state to my room all those years ago :D)

Anita Reay
Owner, Maker, Designer, Curator, Artist
I create one of a kind porcelain creatures, my creatures are whimsical rather than anatomical and I'm often told they are very tactile. Nothing pleases me more than to see people look at my art and smile :)

Custom and personalised orders
I am sorry I am unable to create custom orders at the moment but am always happy to hear ideas and suggestions
Multiple purchases shipping
I am happy to combine shipping and will refund any overpayment once I have packaged and weighed the parcel
Are items food safe?
All of my work is glazed with food safe glazes unless otherwise stated
Do you use moulds in your work?
I do not use any moulds for any of my bird or animal sculptures, I do use my own handmade one piece moulds for some of my bowls and mugs which are then decorated with the little hand sculpted figurines and I have just started to create sprig moulds from my own hand formed bird or animal tiles. Each and every piece I create is unique.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:
International packages will be shipped International Air Mail which can take from 2-6 weeks to receive. Please be patient when ordering to receive your item and note that there might be VAT OR CUSTOMS CHARGES that may apply upon receipt of the order which the customer is solely responsible for.
When will my item be shipped
I am located in Australia and ship worldwide using Australia Post Airmail.
I post within 3 working days after payment, I'm unable to go to the post office every day as some days I'm glazing pottery and some days my kilns are firing and can't be left unattended.
I don't send small parcels with tracking code because that would raise the postage amount, if you require tracking please select it at checkout
The shipping time is an indication only.
I do not include any receipts or invoices.
Once the items are shipped they are out of my hands. Sometimes packages get delayed by customs, it does not happen often, but is does happen
I consider an item lost after 8 weeks of the shipping date.
