Having no home, living in very bad places taught me that where ever you live can become your favorite place to be.

As a small child I never had a room. Typically my room was the closet OR make-shift bedroom at a motel bathroom. When I became a teen, we finally had a real home that we rented. My room required an artistic eye, to say the least. It was dark and tiny space. But I was finally in a home, so I had to woek at nakinf my space special. With little to no money I knew I could do it. I made my curtains out of old shirts by knotting them together. My bedding was made from freebie fabric I would get from neighbors and my grandma. It was a blanket made from strips of fabric that I would ruffle and add on slowly. It was beautiful and huge. This was due to the fact that it was a canvas tarp from a garage. .Strips of ruffled pieces in a striped like pattern.
Walking into the thrift store was like walking into the 'land of recreating'. My head would swirl with ideas. " I can make ANYTHING here pretty". From old statues and mirrors to clothing that could be made into what ever I wanted. It became my cozy haven, a HOME.
When I became a mom reusing and recycling did not stop. My home was mostly decorated in things I found, made or bought from thrift stores. We didnt have much, but we had a house which became a cozy home. I could see something beautiful in anything. Every single person that walked into our place would be amazed at what I did. I was ALWAYS told I should start a business....so I did. As time went on I started purchasing heirloom pieces and creating them. I came to realize that where you live is worth investing into.

Think about it, what do you remember from your childhood home? One of my daughters just told me she remembers the pretty bowls I set out in the morning for breakfast. It gives her that memory of sitting around in the morning in her cozy pj's eating breakfast with her sisters.. A bowl, a pretty bowl brings up that much memory wow! Your home is a powerful place. I knew then and there that if I was going to sell home decor it had to be from my heart. It had to make my customers best feelings come forward. It had to bring out a positive emotional response in me AND my customer. I went forward with passion. I never had that special feeling about my home growing up, until that room. This is the feeling I want for you.
At 19 I started my first home based business, through my dining room and then garage. I sold items I made and pretty vintage pieces. It seemed like every week I was adding a new idea to my little business. My walls were covered with wreaths that had "for sale" tags on them. I made ribbon from old fabric and repainted statues. I never seemed to be able to turn it off.
From there I sold in many brick and mortar shops. 35 years later I am still at it. I have been lucky enough to write columns for magazines, and I have been featured in others. I've had many pieces showcased in the most amazing blogs, so beautifully made.
STATUES of any kind were given crowns. Crowns were not a thing when I loved them, or were home decor anywhere. I couldn't purchase the putti-or -putto's that I saw in books, so I created them using old statues. The first crown I created was actually a stainless steel dog bowl, which when turned up-side-down looks much like a sailor cap. I decorated it with old jewelry, and actually I thought it looked pretty good. Boy, have my crowns changed. If you do a search with my name and add statues, you will see the thousands of crowns I have created.

My creations come from a background in the arts, I am a muralist and home decor creator. I create pieces that are a mix of home decorations and accents and art. Me pieces are well thought out and created to bring you something unique and one of a kind.
My packaging is not fancy. I put everything into the best packing materials on the market. From bubble wrap to packing pillows and good strong paper. I make my boxes very heavy duty and will make a box from crate wood if necessary. I always go by the shipping packaging guidelines and then some.
I want your items to get to you safely. The fun part of the shopping experience is receiving the package and opening it. I want you to feel excited, never worried. I am careful all year round, not just the holidays, Enjoy!

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: I DO ACCEPT RETURNS FOR DAMAGED / BROKEN ITEMS.
It does state that I do not accept returns. Etsy only gives two options to pick. So it does read I take no returns, I always take returns for broken/ damaged items.
I am very transparent and tell it how it is. So please understand that in the past some have purchased items just to decorate something temporarily. Then after they do not need the items, they want to return them. I do have to protect myself. For that reason I do not do any type of 'review and return'. If I did "review and return" I would have decorators buying and sending back items all day. I KNOW, I am a decorator. It would cost me lost time with my pieces and the extra shipping adds the possibility of damage.
Insurance is always provided for every item in my shop and I will always send tracking. I package every item properly and use the proper size boxing and packing materials. I have made packing into a science. I take pride in the way everything is packaged . I want your purchase to arrive to you in great shape. I like my customers and want to keep them, I'm very lucky to have always had amazing people shop with me. I will only list items that are the best and will pitch it if I don't like it.
PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION. My descriptions will give you all the important info on that piece. Read everything before you purchase so there are no surprises. I do not take returns because the description was not read. I will clearly show the flaws of an item in the photo and description. I can not refund for flaws you already know about. Vintage, antique as well as recycled items may have flaws that I purposely want there, or they are part of time aged pieces.
I ENCOURAGE QUESTIONS~~Before purchasing any item I encourage you to ask me as many questions as you want about that item. I love answering you an helping you out with ideas. Custom and modified orders are final and can not be returned. This is part of our agreement when ordering custom with me.

MY CLAIM PROCCESS FOR DAMAGED ITEMS, PLEASE INSPECT YOUR ITEM(S) PROMPTLY UPON RECEIPT. If there is damage please contact me within 48 hours for instructions on how to proceed. After 48 hours I cannot refund for the item.
For any issue please do not email me. Contact me directly through Etsy message. This way Etsy will be able to monitor the exchange for your protection.
BEFORE A REFUND CAN BE ISSUES FOR A DAMAGED ITEM:, you will be sent an affidavit from our insurance carrier. You MUST complete and return the affidavit before a refund will be issued. You will receive a shipping refund on damaged items only.
(A MUST) TAKE CLEAR PHOTOS OF DAMAGES~~please take very clear photos of the item and the packaging. Do not throw out the box. Include photos of the box. This is your best evidence and will make the process go a lot faster.
UNDERSTAND THAT I CAN NOT JUST ISSUE A REFUND. WE NEED TO EITHER START A CLAIM OR WE MUST DISCUSS OTHER OPTIONS.
PLEASE DO NOT JUST RETURN AN ITEM. Notify me first. We need to discuss the options. We need to follow the return policy carefully. If not I have no idea what the damage is. If you return the item before any discussion I can not refund for any shipping at all. I can only give a partial refund of 25% of the item you returned. If the item is damaged in shipping back to me there will be no refund on the item. Please contact me first BEFORE returning any item. If I am not told the item came to you damaged then how will I know the damage did not occur while being shipped back to me? Protect yourself from these kind of questions.

IF THERE IS REASON FOR RETURN...
If there is a reason for return do remember that the item does belong to the purchaser until it reaches me.
1) Please wrap the item just as well as I sent it to you.
2) It is your obligation to have the item insured.
I am no different then any brick and mortar shop. If you purchase an item from a store, then decide to return it and then drop it and break it on the way back to the store, would you receive a refund? So do pack it just the way I packed it to you. If it breaks coming back to me there is no refund from me personally.

IF YOU FEAR THE ITEM IS LOST IN THE MAIL: If your item does not arrive after a reasonable time. Contact me via " Etsy message". This rarely happens but when it does I will be on it right away. I will have a trace put on the item, I talk frequently to the shippers and if needed I will tell them I want it intercepted and sent back to me. Have patience, I will do everything possible to find the package. If it is not found I will start the process of refunding you. I have never, in over 30 years had a package disappear, that wasn't found. I can't promise, but I've only had this happen twice and both were found. I hope this never happens again. I do my best to control all my shipped items. Once it leaves my home I can't see what is happening, no shop can, but I watch the tracking carefully. It's very important that you receive the pieces I work hard on. I want my customers to be excited when it gets to their door.

ODORS...I do not except returns for items with odors.
Due to the fact that many of my items are from estate sales, salvaged picks, antique stores, flea markets and from other countries I cannot guarantee no odors. I ask that you take that into consideration when you receive the item. It is part of the vintage and antique world experience.
When it comes to cigarette, cigar or any order from a smoking device I have several recipes to help.
I try not to purchase items that have cigarette or similar odors, but I don't always catch it. Remember it was not that long ago that people could smoke everywhere.
I wish I could always promise my items were never around cigarette odor but that would be impossible. I do my very best to rid odors on my pieces. I do have Lupus so I understand sensitivities. Keep that in mind when ever purchasing vintage, antique or recycled items from me or anyone else.
I do use homemade dying and patina treatments. These items can have a VERY temporary odor. It can be described as lemons, smoke, sweet, etc. BUT all the odors do fade. Any tea or coffee treatments may smell like tea or coffee for a very short time. I do make all of my treatments.

AWESOME ODOR RECIPE: I deal with many old items. A great method to rid an item from "cigarette smoke" and "mildew odor" is to first spray the item or lightly wipe it with a mixture of vinegar and water. This kills the actual chemicals that you find in cigarettes. After a few days any lingering odor can be removed with a solution of baking soda and water. It's about 8 ounces of water and a tablespoon of baking soda . Shake it very well...Spray lightly a few times for a few days. UPDATE 2020: I recently found a product that killed all the odor of cigarette smoke in my friends car. She uses "OZIUM'. it works great and I plan on purchasing some. Do print the recipe out and stick it on your fridg. The recipe helps with animal odors also.

Payment
RESERVING AN ITEM WITH ME, AGREEMENT / CONTRACT. I do not do a typical layaway. This is an official contract/ agreement between us, please fully understand this. This contract can not be broken. Check the item out carefully. Read the description and look at the photos. I encourage a lot of questions. Make sure you really want the pieces.
If you wish to reserve an item, I require a $30.00 non refundable fee payment ( which is not in addition to the price, but part of the item's price) This is a legitimate contract between seller and buyer. The 30.00 dollars goes back into the item details if you decide not to purchase the piece. It is for fees, new advertising for the item, lost time as someone else could have purchased the item in the time it was on reserve, new photos if necessary etc; This fee is for each item you want to reserve and purchase.
The remainder price of your item is paid in 30 days. I will not bother and badger you for your 30 day payment. I may send a small note to let you know it is due.. Sometimes people forget, we are just human. I will relist the items after 32 days, if the remainder is not paid. Coupons and discounts can not be used on reserved pieces. Thank you.

When you want to reserve an item I will send you an invoice from my PayPal to the email address you give to me. Once it is paid I will reserve the item for you. I will change the price on the listing to the remainder owed. It will also state that you did pay the 30.00 fee. PLEASE DO NOT PAY THE REMAINDER DIRECTLY THROUGH PAYPAL OR ASK ME TO INVOICE YOU THROUGH PAYPAL. You pay for the item through Etsy payment processing, like any other purchase you make on Etsy. If you pay for it through PayPal I will refund the money. It must be paid through Etsy.
There is a limit of 2 items that can be reserved per person. Once paid you can reserve again. The reserve price is not transferable.
NOT QUALIFYING FOR RESERVE> If you are interested in reserving an item please contact me through Etsy only.
When do I add a 'no reserve'? This will happen if an item is newly listed and also when very quickly I receive many people asking to reserve it. I give it some time before taking off the 'no reserve'.

DO YOU NEED TO CANCEL YOUR ITEM? Please do try to let me know soon as possible. After 8 hours it may be packed up and already on it's way to shipping.
Shipping
I ship within 1 to 3 days on most items, although I strive to ship faster whenever possible. If I am very busy hang tight, it might go out on a 4th day. But most of the time I do get your purchase out to you sooner. All items are insured and tracking is sent to you. DUE TO COVID, THERE MAY BE A DELAYS WITH SHIPPING> I WILL ALWAYS GET MY ITEM OUT IN TIME. ONCE IT"S IN THE HANDS OF THE SHIPPERS< IT IS OUT OF MY CONTROL. I will do everything in my power to help you if a shipping issue arises. Please understand these are strange time and shipping companies may lack man power or they may not update your items tracking correctly. Please do contact me.
I SEND YOUR ITEMS TO THE ADDRESS YOU HAVE LISTED (on the shipping label)., so please check your address for errors before you place your order.
I cannot be held responsible for delays in shipping or additional charges as a result of an incorrect address.
If an item is returned to me stating it can not be delivered to that address, you will be responsible for additional shipping fees (for the item to go back to you) and any fees I incur from the situation.

I take great care in ensuring that items are safely packed to protect against damage during shipping.
In the event an item arrives damaged, keep the item along with the packing material, and contact me right away for further instructions.

Large groupings may be packed in multiple boxes at my discretion to keep them safe.

I will combine shipping on multiple items IF it can be done safely.

I ship to Canada, most of Europe, New Zealand/Australia, and certain Asia-Pacific countries. International shipping is limited by size/weight restrictions.

If an item is returned to me marked "Undeliverable" or "Refused", no refund will be issued. This includes refusal to accept an item in order to avoid paying your country's VAT. I will be happy to resend the item(s), but you must pay the additional shipping and applicable fees. Please let me know with in 3 days if you want it shipped back to you. After 3 days items will be re-listed, I can not refund for a refused item. It an item is returned to me with stickers stating that you refused to pay tax I will not refund you. If I do refund to later receive the item back as refused I will have to report this issue. I never want to do this. Please be smart and understand your countries tax system.

Please note - International customers are responsible for paying any import or Value Added Tax. Please be aware of such taxes or fees BEFORE ordering. Also, be mindful of your own country's customs regulations and restrictions, as we cannot be held responsible for any taxes, fees, penalties, loss or damage resulting from your package's processing through that system.

Once an item leaves the USA, we may have no way of tracking the item in another country. Please take note of your tracking information. It may be necessary to make arrangements to accept delivery with your local postal service/ shipping service. Please be watchful for your item. Watch tracking so you know where your item is. I always send tracking with your receipt.

Additional policies and FAQs
CUSTOM ORDERS...There are few items I will do custom orders on. Please feel free to ask..

Custom orders must be paid before I start working on them. This includes modifying items already listed, or creating an item similar to one you like. Custom orders will cost more than a currently listed item. This is due to the fact that I will be contacting my sources, possibly driving around to find pieces to complete your purchase. I do charge for the time I will spend looking for the items, supplies, labor, removal of paint. Each piece I find for your custom order will be of high quality. I look for pieces at a fair price. Because it is a custom piece I can not take the same time to find less priced items. But the pieces will always be worth it. I only purchase the best.
Keep in mind, as most of my items are one of a kind, and made with vintage, reclaimed, recycled or salvaged materials, I cannot guarantee a "duplicate" item to one you are interested in. I will come as close as I can.
If I need to make large changes like removal of existing colors or adding colors (paint) to an item you are having me redo, I charge for added time it takes for that process including supplies used for paint removal.. The removal of paint can be a long time consuming process.
Once a custom or modified order is paid I can not refund it for any reason. Once I start the process I can't refund for a modified item. It may not appeal to others and I am also using more supplies and there is time and labor.
I will make the item as similar to the item you want it to look like. However I can not promise it will be the same.
Remember what you see in your head may be different then what the item will look like. I can not duplicate pieces you want recreated. I can come close however, I can't duplicate embellishments. Items like crowns can never be duplicated. I create each one like an art piece. All pieces in a crown are looked for as I create the crown. I've created 2201 crowns and tiaras and none have ever been duplicated. I use only the best rhinestone pieces. I use only high quality embellishments.
With anything that I am distressing, please remember distressing can take on a look of it's own. I will do my best to give it the look you want. Excellence is my top priority.
