This skirt is beautiful! It is well made and was shipped sooner than I expected. I appreciated Anjou taking the time to answer all my questions. She has excellent customer service! I love my skirt!

Anjou communicated with me promptly and patiently--I really appreciated that she took the time to answer all my questions (I had quite a few). She was able to match the tulle color to a vintage dress I tried on many months ago, but did not purchase. My wedding look was memorable, comfortable and beautiful thanks to her amazing tulle skirt.

About

Daydreaming in nostalgic fabrics and silhouettes

Anjou Clothing and Vintage is a concept store and clothing line that blossomed from my supreme use of escapism into vintage and whimsical moments. I adore capturing the essence of cupcake frosting, pirouetting ballerinas, an untamed garden, Marie Antoinette's court, the English countryside, or a vintage boardwalk. Tulle, chiffon, cotton chintz, vintage florals, layers upon layers of pastel tulle, and lace name but a few of my favorite fabrics to dream with.

My tulle skirts have been featured in Wedding Chicks, Emmaline Bride, Rock 'n Roll Bride, and Belle the Magazine. They were also worn by the bridesmaids in Rider Strong's (Boy Meets World) wedding.

The Anjou blog, anjouclothing.com, has been featured on Etsy's Pinterest DIY board, Freshly Pressed on Wordpress, and the March 2016 issue of Architectural Review.

I started Anjou because I believe in lofty romanticism. I die over delicate fabrics and sheer lingerie, over-adorning, matching my heels to my belt, gloves, and hat, a double extra dirty martini, and the haunting vibrato of the cello.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
Payment is due within seven days of purchase, after which time the item will be relisted. If you would like to cancel the order, please send me a message within one day of payment, as I purchase the necessary materials for your custom orders almost immediately after purchase.
Shipping
For US deliveries, I usually ship via USPS Priority Mail. For international delivery, I use USPS First Class International, which can sometimes take up to 3 weeks (mostly because of customs). If you have a time crunch and/or would like your loved item shipped another way, or would like insurance, just let me know and we'll work it out! I always ship with delivery confirmation so you and I both know your precious item arrived safely.
Refunds and Exchanges
For Custom Orders: It is imperative that you take great care in measuring yourself according to the instructions that I provide. Custom garments will fit to the size that was chosen, not necessarily to YOU if they are inaccurate. I will tailor custom garments 1 time free of charge (you are responsible for shipping to me). This free tailoring is for slight adjustments or my mistakes only (not for color changes or complete size changes that require remaking the skirt). Please note that even with accurate measurements, garments still may require slight tailoring due to the fact that I cannot fit you personally.

For Vintage Items: I take great care in accurately describing and measuring all of my items, and thus, will not offer refunds or exchanges for sizing issues, noted flaws, or anything other than a gross misrepresentation of the item. Please keep in mind that these are all vintage items and are sold AS IS. Also, keep in mind that cameras and computer screens do funny things to colors and thus I describe the color of the garment as accurately as possible in the description and try to provide a close-up photo to give you a more accurate representation. If you have any concerns regarding the size or color, please contact me.
