General Info:
Turnaround Time: I usually have my current turnaround time listed in my shop announcements, Facebook page, and all my listings. If you’re unsure, send me a message and I’ll tell you. Certain things, like small accent kits, take less time while full orders can take a couple months.
**My current turnaround time is 6-8 weeks**

Deposit: If you prefer not to pay the entire total upfront, I am able to take a nonrefundable deposit of 50% of the total price. The other 50% plus shipping cost is due before shipment of the dreads. Contact me if you’d like to take advantage of this payment plan.

Shipping: I send packages within the US priority, which comes with a tracking number and usually takes 1-3 business days.
International packages are sent first class with no tracking. International shipping is often unpredictable. I have no way of knowing when your package will arrive. Contact me if you’d like to upgrade your shipping to include tracking.
**I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PACKAGES ONCE THEY LEAVE MY HANDS AND ARE ENTERED INTO THE POSTAL SYSTEM.**

Custom Orders: If you’re looking for something specific that you don’t see in my etsy shop, don’t hesitate to contact me. I will most likely be able to work with you.

FAQ
____

How long do they last?
They will last a lifetime, as long as you take good care of them. They might get a little fluffy after a couple of wears. If needed, you can send them back to me anytime and I will reseal them for you free of charge.

How long can I leave them in my hair?
It depends on how long you can stand to have them in and how fast your hair grows. Some people leave them in for as long as two months but on average people leave them in for 3-4 weeks. If you leave them in for longer than a month, your hair might start to tangle and dread as the roots grow out, so it's recommended to at least take them out to brush your hair and then reinstall them if natural dreads are not your goal.

How do I put them in?
With the single ended dreads, what you will basically be doing is a 3 way braid. Each dread will have a loop at the top. Take a section of your hair, split it into two, and pull one of the sections of hair through the loop. Pull the dread all the way to the top, and start braiding.
Double ended dreads will already be folded in half. Take a section of your hair and split it into two. Put the folded part of the dread over one of the sections of your hair so that each side of the dread hangs on either side of the section of hair. Then take the two sections of your own hair, and one side of the dread and do a basic three way braid. Leave the other side of the dread out.
It takes a little practice but it is easy once you get the hang of it. There are tons of tutorials on youtube. You will probably want a friend to help you with the back ones.

Can I shower with them or get them wet?
Yes you can get them wet. If you want to wash your hair with them in, the easiest method is to mix some shampoo with water, and then pour it over your head and lather, concentrating on the scalp. You don't need to worry too much about washing the dreads themselves, because they are made of synthetic fiber and don't really attract oil and dust. If they get a little funky smelling, you can put some essential oils in them.

How long does my hair have to be?
At least 3 inches.

Can I dye them?
No, they are made out of synthetic fiber and not meant to be dyed.

Why does it take so long to get my order?
I'm usually booked for approximately two months so most of the wait time is me working through the other orders to get to your spot on my list. Also, making synthetic dreads is extremely time consuming. I put a lot of love into each dread to ensure the quality of your order.

Fantastic service, was constantly updated on progress, the dreads are amazing, my first ones and they turned out better than expected. Looked exactly how I wanted them too, based on the concept picture I provided I was greatly surprised. Worth the money and would buy from again.

Beautiful! Material is very soft, the colors are gorgeous, especially the lighter pinks. Transitions are very soft and gentle, and the seller spent a lot of time making sure I got exactly what I hoped for, definitely going above and beyond for my picky tastes. There are too many praises to sing! Will send install pics asap :) Thanks again, Anmorata Designs. These are indeed the dream! (She also sent a flower clip to match the dreads, which is too sweet)

About

Hair for the wild hearted!

I’ve always been a visual artist and my love for alternative hairstyles and fashion began many years ago. I’m fascinated by all the different methods of expressing oneself through hairstyles, which is what began my love for creating synthetic dreads 13 years ago. I consider my synthetic hair creations, headdresses, and clay jewelry all to be works of wearable art. Nothing gives me more joy than creating something for my customers that make them feel like the magical beings they truly are inside!

I've been an artist for as long as I can remember. When I'm not making dreads, I'm usually creating some other type of art. Either that, or dancing at a festival =)
