Announcement   Hello and welcome to Equus, my equestrian art "studio"...

2018 brings new work from the Grand National Steeplechase as well as inspiration from new mediums. It's all from the heart and soul of passion, Please Enjoy!

My "Art At the Ringside" series continues to evolve just as my riding does. I spend a lot of time at dressage shows exhibiting my horse Chancellor. Many of the artworks you see here are from "breaks" I take during the day to watch other horses train and show (while my "Chance" catches up on his sleep).

PS-Just bought my tickets for the WEG Tyron...LMK if you're going...let's get inspired together...Yay!

If you have any questions about framing, shipping multiples or buying in groups...Or are interested in larger works, even non-equestrian pieces (I make works about food, figures, dark matters and culture. See websites below for a look)...

Please don't hesitate to contact me...
All the best in life and riding!

I love this beautiful custom print that I purchased! Anna was incredibly helpful and patient. Not only did she work closely with me to create the perfect size print, she also made it a point to stay within my desired budget. My print arrived promptly with a hand written card. I could not be happier with my purchase! If you are looking for beautiful equestrian-inspired artwork of the highest quality created by a talented and thoughtful artist, look no further.

So glad I bought two! As I said in my other review, is came packaged beautifully, I loved the handwritten note, and the artwork is so much more lovely than the online photos!

About

Equus as Muse

My Etsy "Equus" shop is where I feature artworks where the horse is subject. Horses are a vital part of my life and my art practice. You can always find me at the barn if not in the studio! I have two bodies of work, so to speak, in this shop: "Art at the Ringside" and "Equus."

The "Ringside" series I create at the actual ringsides of horse shows and arenas. They are quick watercolors reflecting what's happening at the moment...horses schooling for a dressage class, jumpers galloping over oxers and even naughty, tense moments when it's not going so well. I imagine myself riding these horses, feeling the movement and aids, and I paint it as I feel it. Each is unique and emotive.

in the Equus series I work with the horse in myth and spirit. I am attracted to dark tales of the Apocalypse as well as the lighter imagery of the horse as guiding spirit. The Equus Series shows horses in motion through an abstract landscape. The strong, emotive gestures in these images suggest movement forward, a way of getting through and getting beyond one’s own personal history. The horse inspires and perhaps represents my own artistic process.

Shipping
I ship worldwide!

I usually use the U.S. Postal Service for shipping, choosing Priority Mail, to give you the best combination of speed, insurance and reliability. However, I prefer using UPS or FedEx if shipping more expensive original artworks and will provide a quote upon request if it’s not already listed.
I base my shipping prices on the maximum actual shipping cost, plus materials, and will refund any savings in excess of $2 in overpaid shipping costs. Some artworks may include a modest handling/materials fee to recover some time & materials costs. I will combine items whenever possible, and refund the cost savings to you. Insurance is included into the shipping price. If you choose another method of shipping, opt out of insuring the package, you assume responsibility for a lost or damaged package. All items are carefully packed for safe and efficient shipping. All orders are sent within 3 weeks (or as stated in the listing) to the address provided on Etsy. Expedited shipping also available.

INTERNATIONAL customers, please note the international shipping rates I provide are estimates based on USPS, Insured Priority Mail. I choose USPS Priority Mail, whenever possible, to ship around the globe as it provides insurance AND tracking. I recognize it can be expensive but because I ship mostly original or limited edition artworks, I feel safer having it fully covered. On certain pieces, less expensive, uninsured first class shipping can be arranged (see above) or expedited shipping can be added if you'd like your package more quickly. I am not responsible for custom/duty fees or postal transit times.

If you need special shipping arrangements or gift packaging, please convo me and I'll do my best to accommodate.

Please CONVO me if you have questions or suggestions about shipping, I will be happy to assist!
