My Furls Crochet Hook Story...

As my shop name name implies...Anna's Gotta Crochet! But arthritis in my hands and wrists just about put a stop to my love of crochet because using a standard crochet hook caused me so much pain that I had to stop after just 10 minutes of work. Then I discovered Furls crochet hooks, and I feel reborn again. I can now crochet pain free for hours a day.

This ergonomic hook was designed specifically to reduce hand stress and tension of the hand and wrist tendons and ligaments, allowing your fingers to relax around the hook, therefore applying less pressure so you can create more even and light stitches. And the hook has been sanded so smooth it glides through your yarn like butter.

It takes only a little bit to get use to the extreme lightweight of this hook, but I found my work looked more even and my hand and fingers naturally relaxed its grip and began to almost roll the hook in a rhythmic manner rather then twist and turn my wrist as I had to do with a traditional crochet hook, that caused me so much pain.

So I can whole heartily say, give this hook a try if you haven't been able to do as much crocheting as you would like. I think you will find that you love it as much as I do, and you will be able to crochet again. If you are unsure, buy the size that you use most often. By the time you have finished your next project I bet you will want the entire set of sizes. That's how I got started using Furls hooks. I bought one, then two more, then three more, and now I have the entire range of sizes. All of my old standard type hooks are now in a bag on the shelf.

But my love for Furls hooks didn't stop there, I wanted to tell the world about these wonderful hooks so I became an authorized retailer for Furls! Do you combine shipping?

YES! The shipping calculator will figure the shipping cost based on the total weight and destination of your order.

How long after I pay for my order before you ship it?

I ship within 1 business day, Monday thru Friday (excluding holidays). Orders received after 11:00am on Friday may not ship until Monday (depending on order volume on that day).

I ship by 1st Class or USPS Parcel Post (unless you request an upgrade to Priority Mail) so usually your US order should be delivered within 3-9 days after I drop it at the post office, depending on the shipping method you choose.

International orders are usually delivered within 10-15 business days, depending on the shipping method you choose.

Do you offer Gift Wrapping?

YES, I offer Gift Wrapping! For a small fee I will gift wrap any order. Just select 'Gift Wrapping' with your order before Checkout, and enter your gift message. My current wrapping paper is a pretty Birdies paper with a colored ribbon. The wrapped gift is packed in such a way to protect the pretty wrapping until it is delivered to the gift recipient.

How Do Private Viewings Work?

If you'd like to see a hook before you buy it, I'm happy to provide a 'Private Viewing' as time permits. You tell me what color & size hook you want to purchase and I will pull 3 hooks that match your request and send you front & back photos of the hooks. You pick the one(s) you want and make your purchase, then you receive that very hook(s). If you don't like the selection offered, I can pull 2 more hooks.

Limits:

I will only do 2 hook requests per order.

You must pay for the hook(s) you selected right away.

Viewings will be terminated if I feel you are taking advantage of my generosity. Example: you get your two viewings then request a completely different color and/or size, or the opposite of what you originally asked for. :-(

What is your return policy?

If you're unhappy with your purchase you may request a return authorization as follows:

1. You MUST give me the courtesy of contact within 5 days of delivery And BEFORE leaving a negative review or filing a case against me. Kindness & cooperation begets kindness & cooperation.

2. An RMA (return authorization) will be issued and detailed instructions for returning the item(s) will be sent to you.

3. Upon receiving undamaged, unused item in good-as-new condition, a refund will be issued, (minus my cost for original shipping if you received free shipping). Returned products received in poor condition will not be eligible for refund.

Furls Crochet Hook Warranty

As an Authorized Furls Retailer, all Furls Crochet Hooks are guaranteed just as they are under the Furls Crochet Promise to perform to a certain standard with the following differences:
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your Furls Crochet hook or your Furls Hook fails to live up to the Furls Promise, you are entitled to a refund within 60 days of your purchase. I don't do exchanges. Proof of purchase through my order photo-verification is required for all returns, replacements, and refunds.

REPLACEMENTS and REFUNDS

Any product returned for replacement or refund MUST be returned in good-as-new condition to be eligible. Customer is responsible for shipping product back with product packaging & shipping materials to prevent damage during transit. Customer must cover the cost of return shipping. Refund will exclude my original cost to ship if you originally received free shipping. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Returned product received in poor condition will not be eligible for a refund.

CROCHET HOOK BREAKAGE & DEFECTS

Furls Crochet Hooks broken by customer (rolls off table, dog chewed, you sit on it, etc.) are no longer covered by warranty. Defective products or hooks heads that break during normal use are eligible for a one-time replacement (meaning I don't do warranty replacements of warranty replacements). In the case that your crochet Hook Head breaks or is defective, please message me through Etsy and I'll walk you through the replacement process.

We will require a picture of the broken hook with the embossed size showing so we can confirm through our photo-documentation of orders, that it is the same hook purchased from us.

DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT

Products damaged in transit are eligible for a replacement or refund. You must notify us within 7 days of delivery. In order to process our shipping insurance claim you must send us 2 pictures, 1 of the broken items (with the embossed size on hooks showing so we can confirm through our photo-documentation that it is the same hook purchased from us) and 1 of the packaging materials.

You must retain all damaged items and packaging materials until the claim has completed processing. Once complete we'll send you a replacement item or refund, whichever you choose. It may take up to 30 days to process a 'Damaged in Shipment' claim. Failure to cooperate with the claim will void your eligibility to receive a replacement or refund.

Do You Ship Outside of the US?

YES! We now ship to anywhere in the world, excluding the EU because their seller requirements are just not compatible with my shop policies.
