I have one of those brains that never shuts off. I even have learned how to be aware of what is in my dreams. I go to sleep musing, musing while dreaming, and awake. It makes me very tired at times.

I have spent many years making all sorts of things for family membes, friends, co-workers, and civic organizations. The crowning glory was utilizing all my skills as Decorations Chairman for the first 5 years of our town wide All Night Grad Party. 9 months of research, scavenging, fundraising, designing, teaching how to make decorations, actual construction, set up and take down.. 10 rooms, 4 200 ft hallways, front of school and courtyard were decorated to the max. It was a blast!

As my time in the Jaycees and other civic endeavors came to a close - people always said - you should sell this! And followed with - I will work with you in a moment! So, I began crafting.

I have a house full of 30 years of crafting treasures. I call it the "Annie Baba Treasure Cave". Actually I recently gave away a small uhaul of fabric, and 80% of my hoarded button collection. Donated bags of crafting items to nursing homes, girl scouts, freecycle.

I began by making angel bells and flower fairies. I made hooded baby towels like I used when my children were born. I did all kinds of wreaths. Hit the craft fair circuit for a few years. Did ok.

Finally, discovered Etsy. Added my towels and bells - sold some.

One day I was musing what I could make that I had a lot of. I had tissue paper. Ah! When I was in 3rd grade we made carnations from folded Kleenex and pipe cleaners. So, on a whim I took the gift tissue paper and made up some. I added them to my website - and within a month I had a large order. That was in 2008.
