I try to make life more fun for everyone; including card buyers!
I'm Annette and basically I am a creative maniac! I am a card maker, a baker, a writer, and a very lucky wife and also a mom of two beautiful girls. I put my heart and soul into every endeavor and hopefully you will see that as you browse through my Etsy store. When I left my job at a local post office a few years ago, I needed something to keep me busy (and make some extra money). That's when I got back into card making. I started selling cards locally. Years before that, I made cards while my kids were growing up, stashing everything in what was affectionately known as the "art cabinet." When the girls moved out, their room became my card studio. I've expanded over the years and now I have a great place to create. When I started this endeavor once again, I printed "Cards by Annette" on the back of each card...at the insistence of my customers...and truth be known if that name had been available that's what my Etsy shop would be called! Alas, I am happily and literally Annette's House of Cards (but Cards by Annette will explain the names of some of my other social media pages and why it's printed on the back of my cards). I've done hundreds of designs over the years and this is my attempt to share with the Etsy audience. I hope if nothing else, you enjoy looking at my work. XOXO Annette :)
