anniebondpottery's Shop Announcement

I have lived in the beautiful Keys with my husband for over 20 years and enjoy virtually all of the water activities. Several years ago a small ceramic shop opened in Islamorada which I visited on a regular basis and fell in love with creating unique ceramics.

I started spending too much time there and looked for something that could be made at home. I then crafted polymer jewelry for several years and continued this on a custom basis.

Then, my husband’s aunt in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I’m originally from, offered me a kiln that she intended to sell. After a little arm twisting, we drove to Pittsburgh and brought the kiln to the Keys. I then upgraded my ceramic designs to “stoneware” which is much harder and durable and is both microwave and dishwasher safe. Each item is individually crafted with a basic “Keys” theme in mind. My client’s have used them as serving platters, bathroom soap dishes, snack dishes, etc. One friend keeps her serving platter on a wall mount for interior decoration and then serves with it on special occasions. Another uses a shell dish for her business cards.

I do one art show a year, “Art Under the Oaks” in Tavernier in January.
