What I Sell Here: I sell my own, exclusive, copyrighted digital photographic images. You can purchase these images as prints, matted prints, framed and matted prints, fine-art notecards, keyrings, calendars, and other novelties. I use ONLY my own work. Depending upon the image I decide whether to print in my own studio (I use a Canon Pixma Pro 9000 printer), or to utilize a third-party printer. I always inspect each print before I ship to my customers to make sure the quality is as perfect as it can be. You will never receive a print that I have not looked at myself prior to sending to you. All of my fine-art notecards are printed in my own studio.
I do my own matting and framing. I do not own a mat cutter or the tools to cut moulding or glass sheets, but I do utilize a wholesale framer nearby who work closely with me to make sure we use top-quality and conservation-standard materials. They cut mats to my exact specifications and use the framestock I select personally to create frames that bring out the best in my photos. I put everything together, and I do all the packing work myself.

Returns and exchanges

2) We'll discuss if you'd like a refund -- through PayPal ONLY -- or if you'd like store credit.
3) If we do decide on a refund, I will ask you to send your item back to me and that I receive it in the samecondition as it was when I sent it to you. Once it is back in my shop, I will reimburse you through PayPal for the amount of the item you purchased. Unfortunately, I cannot refund the shipping charges, nor can I reimburse you for the shipping cost you incur in returning it to me.
4) I guarantee that any item sent from my ship will depart in pristine condition and packaged safely for transit. I do not allow for insurance in the shipping cost. If you do want me to insure any item, please let me know BEFORE you pay or before I ship to you. If you do not request insurance, and the item is damaged in transit, I will work with you to make you happy. After all, I do want you to come back to my shop, and I will treat any (highly unlikely) incident on a case-by-case basis.
I was in the international shipping business for a long time, and I am well aware of the pitfalls AND of the responsibilities of buyers and sellers.

I accept PayPal and have complete confidence in their services. Having a PayPal account is simple to create and to use, and it works without you having to divulge any of your payment information to me or to any other vendor.
I do accept checks and money orders, and I wait for bank clearance before I ship. If you are in a hurry, this may not be the best way to finalize your purchase.
If you are a Utah resident, I will charge applicable sales tax. The rate for 2009 is 7.45%.
Cancellations happen, and I can be flexible. Humans are allowed to change their minds. Just remember that I do tend to ship quickly once you have paid, so if you have buyer's remorse, please be quick about it! (See the Refunds & Exchanges section for more info).
If you want an upgrade to USPS Express Mail (domestic or international), just let me know, and I'll add the upcharge in a separate PayPal Request for Payment.
If I make a print myself, I need to allow time for the inks to set. The same goes for notecards. If I use my third-party printer, I make the trip to pick up the photos in that 24-hour timeframe. Sometimes we have terrible weather in the mountains, and sometimes I'm travelling. I work hard to make sure I can get your items to you as quickly as I can, and I will communicate closely with you to let you know what's going on. I've also begun working with a third-party printer domiciled in Michigan. They take about 5-7 business days to deliver prints to me. I inspect each print to make sure it's the way it's supposed to be, sign it and send to you right away.
If you purchase a loose or matted photograph or a framed photograph from me, I will insure it. I want you to buy from me no matter where in the world you are, so I will only charge the exact amount for insurance. If I have collected more from you than it actually costs, I will refund you.
I fill out the necessary USPS Customs forms. I have access to HTS numbers, but I normally don't have to get them unless absolutely necessary. So far, I've had no problems shipping outside the USA.
I take care to pack my work carefully. I have learned from experience! I try to re-use shipping envelopes, wrapping material, cardboard tubes and the like. Don't be surprised if you receive something in a "used" package. It's little things that can go a long way toward saving our planet; this is my small contribution. See if you can find another use for the packing material, too!
