5 out of 5 starsThis little pot is just lovely!! High quality stoneware. Beautiful coloration with an organic design motif. This pot is tones of purple and green, with some maroon and pale blue. Deep, rich color!! I have purchased several pieces of Jill's exquisite pottery, mostly as gifts for others. I especially like her serving trays! I am beyond pleased with this purchase!

Jill Tortorella Pottery
I make each and every pot here in my Antioch, Illinois studio.
Using glazes I mix myself and clay that I make, I have developed a unique color pallet.
I am fascinated with functional pottery, so I make sure that every ceramic piece is fully functional while being dishwasher safe, ovenproof, and microwave safe, for people to enjoy everyday. With proper care my pottery will bring you years of enjoyment.
My hope for everyone here on this page is that they enjoy using my pottery as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Along with this Etsy shop, I travel around the United States to about 20-30 shows per year. I would love to meet you someday!
Please do not hesitate to contact me, I would be happy to answer any and all questions you may have, 847-852-0636
I embrace custom orders!

Owner, Maker, Artist
A serious love of clay draws me to my studio every single day. My studio ROCKS!! In the summer its all open air. The gas kiln (nicknamed The Beast) was handmade by me and my son Kevin. There is no computer and I get perfect color almost every time.

Care instructions
My stoneware pottery is durable, versatile, and safe to use. Fired to 2360
degrees F, also known as "cone 9", it is oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe.
Both my clay and glazes contain no harmful materials. For baking, I suggest
warming the piece in the oven, rather than placing it in a preheated oven. Mugs
and teapots should be rinsed with hot tap water before pouring in boiling water.
These precautions will eliminate the drastic temperature changes that sometimes
cause damage to a piece of stoneware.
Custom orders welcome
I gladly except custom orders for anything you see in my store but wish for a different size or color. I also excel at custom dinnerware sets large and small. Everything from dinner plates, salad plates, soup bowls and mugs, I do it all. Just message me for a quote and time frame, custom orders take between 3 and 8 weeks depending upon workload at time of order.
