Marckle has an exquisite shop that is complimented by stellar customer service. All my pre-purchase questions were promptly answered and the prints were quickly shipped / expertly packed. They are even more stunning in person!

About

collecting/hoarding the rare & unusual print...

i closed my antique print store in nyc a few years ago...after a few months of severe inactivity i realized the more you work with etsy the more you benefit from etsy...so i dove in head first and never looked back!

i have tens of thousands of unique, rare, exotic, eclectic prints in my collection so i am constantly listing new prints which is how i spend the majority of my day - every day.

i consider what i am selling as my personal/private collection so it is often difficult to part with a most admired print ~ at times i have unlisted a print so i can delight in it a little while longer...eventually, well 99% of the time, i will relist the print and it usually sells quickly!

i hope my world wide customers feel the adoration i have for my prints when they open their packages..one piece of history traveling around the world a few time over to be enjoyed by yet another eye in another century...

welcome to my little online antique print shop...

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Money Order
  • Check
Payment
i accept most forms of payment -

***i prefer etsy direct checkout or paypal as it tends to be the smoothest transaction - all major credit cards are accepted via etsy direct check out and at paypal***

*** i welcome personal check and money orders from US banks - in US dollar funds - checks and money orders should be made out to: marckle myers***

***checks and money orders MUST be received in a timely manner ***

***orders will be canceled after this time period and prints will be re-listed to sell - i will contact you before i cancel your order for non payment***

***payment method may be changed if check/money order is not received in time***
Shipping
all shipping includes FULL INSURANCE COVERAGE which is why i may charge a bit more then others. i do not make a profit on shipping charges. and will refund any overages you may pay

i usually ship via the united states postal service first class mail.
i will upgrade to priority service when necessary
i can also send prints for next day or over night via fedex or usps
additional charges will apply and have to be paid before item ships

***NB. ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS ***

** USA postal service can be spotty. once your package leaves my hands it is fully insured but 100% under the control of the USPS.

** if your package is lost you will be refunded

** however - i must follow etsy protocol for this process ~

AS PER ETSY - "For lost parcels, you must wait 21 days for domestic and 45 days for international locations. Lost claims for shipments sent to Italy require a 60 day wait before filing. Claims for damaged or missing items can be filed immediately."

** i cannot refund your purchase until this claim is filed in the above timeframe

*** ALL ORDERS ARE UNIQUE & TREATED INDIVIDUALLY***
Refunds and Exchanges
i know it is difficult to purchase something from only a photo or a scan AND i want my customers 100% happy with their prints

so - i do accept returns with a few conditions -

***THEY MUST BE UNDAMAGED!
***THEY MUST RETURNED IN THE SAME CONDITION AS I SENT THEM TO YOU!

YOU MUST LET ME KNOW ASAP IF YOU ARE RETURNING YOUR PURCHASE!!

please packaged them appropriately so they arrive undamaged & in the same condition your received them in & so i can relist them

a full refund will be made after receipt of the prints in their original condition

***they must be returned within two weeks of your receipt***

HANDLE ANTIQUE PRINTS CAREFULLY! THEY ARE OLD AND CAN BE FRAGILE! PRINTS DAMAGED BY THE BUYER ARE NOT RETURNABLE!

OBVIOUSLY - PACKAGES DAMAGED BY THE POSTAL SERVICE DO NOT APPLY HERE - CONTACT ME FOR INITIATING INSURANCE COLLECTION PROCEEDINGS
Additional policies and FAQs
Why does what appears to be the same print command different prices in different places?

The value of an antique etching, engraving, lithograph, or woodblock is determined by several criteria. First and foremost is condition. Prints must be clean (no staining or foxing), conform to the original size (no trimming or repairs) and if colored, the coloring must have been done in the period (not added at a later date). Other determinants of value are the popularity of the subject matter, the reputation of the artist, the size of the edition, and where the impression falls in the printing (early or late).
