Food inspired art and crafts, 100% calorie and guilt free.

I am an Etsy seller since 2005 when I initially started selling polymer clay miniature jewelry and became known for my original design of "cake slice earrings". Because I always have loved to try different techniques and materials, I now have expanded my collection of creations to felt cakes and food inspired watercolors.

My creations and paintings have been showcased in various shows both in Italy and America. A few:
- SUGARCRAFT exhibition in Chicago
- WHOLLYCRAFT exhibition in Columbus
- CulturePOP newsletter

Another interest of mine is the beauty of Nature and flowers so in 2009 I opened my second Etsy shop dedicated to flower jewelry and interesting vintage finds. You can see the shop here:

Welcome to my shop! Here you will find some more informations about me and my creations.

What you see in my shop is what I call "foodcraft", the result of two of my biggest passions, food and crafts! I am a self-taught polymer clay artist who began experimenting with it more than ten years ago and a passionate cook (and eater!).

What you see are my original designs inspired by everyday food, food that I cook or eat, cooking magazines, books and food tv.

My original "cake earrings" idea came to me on 2005, while I was creating a dollhouse miniature cake. I thought that wearing a cake slice as jewerly would be a sweet way to show my passion for food and cuteness. I started to sell my creations from internet from the same year for whoever shared these same passions. My trademark has always been hanging the cakes from the back side of the cake for a better display of the toppings. I do believe that you first eat with your eyes! ;)

When you will own one of my creations you will realize that details are really important to me and that I take the right time needed for the better result and your satisfaction, my main commitment.

Feel free to contact me for custom orders related to my felt cakes or watercolor paintings.

ps: "aoi" means blue and green in Japanese...I always have wanted a colorful nickname! :D
